Alright, how is this a costume? Seriously?

[Kai is looking just a teensy bit different this morning. he'd been on his way to do a bit of shopping, but now he's left sort of shifting awkwardly in place as he tries not to fall over. sure, he's been a pony before - both the regular sort and the oddly proportioned cartoon sort - but those times he was fully equine, not... a bunch of pieces stuck together while still being mostly human from the waist up. his hand moves to the single, off-center horn coming out of his forehead and he frowns briefly. this entire 'costume' is going to prove rather inconvenient.]

[Chuckle.] Alright. My place isn't too far from here.

[City centre apartment, of course, for someone so desperately craving the sounds of life around her.]

You seem to be getting the hang of those legs, at least.

It's a little awkward since the front and back are from different animals, but it's coming pretty quickly.

[She smiles-] Well, that's good.

I still sort of feel like I'm going to trip any second now, but I'm pretty sure I'll be fine.

At least four legs should be stable?

At least there's that, yeah. Short of managing to trip three of the four, I don't think it'll actually be a problem.

...Maybe we should keep you off the stairs for the moment.

[She gives a bit of a friendly laugh.]

[he laughs as well. at least it doesn't sound horse-y.]

That sounds like a good idea. Waiting on the main floor it is.

[Those vocal cords're definitely still human, then.]

Alright. It looks like we're here...

I'll wait down here, then?

[he's okay with just settling down and waiting here. he doubts she'll be very long.]

[he'll carefully settle into something of a resting position to wait, in that case.]

[She nods, and heads off. And in a bit, she'll be down with an armful of blanket and bits and pieces.]

Here. I looked for a jacket, too, but I'm not sure any of mine would fit.

Thanks. I think mine will still fit me, so I'll just have to head back home at some point and see if Axel can grab me one.

[She smiles, nods.]
