[If anyone's been looking for this Riku the past two weeks, they wouldn't have found him anywhere. He was pulled from the DR and has just recently returned this morning. Unwillingly, of course, as he'd much rather have stayed back in his world, but sometimes things just don't work out like that.

And just to mess with him some more, the DR's plucked him right out of his bed. He's sitting on the curb of the sidewalk outside of the apartments in a t-shirt and pajama pants, looking irritated and only half awake.]

Someone please tell me I'm not where I think I am.

and suddenly riku has a girl falling into his lap. for his sake, one hopes he's not suffering from morning wood, or maybe one hopes he is just to make the situation all the more awkward. either way, a girl coming out of thin air sort of confirms that he is where he thinks he is.]

[That'd be awkward, no. And yeah, that kinda does confirm it, because Naminé is not supposed to be in his lap. She also startles him into being pretty much fully awake.]

What the...?

[naminé's eyes are shut, and her nose is scrunched up just slightly as if she is bracing herself for the pain to kick in. it doesn't. she opens her eyes to see riku, who she just so happens to be straddling, and she realizes he's just broken her fall.]

I... Thank you.

[this would look rather suggestive to any onlookers, wouldn't it?]

[He looks down, glad that he picked actual pants and a shirt to sleep in, even if the pants are chocobo-printed.

Until a few minutes ago, yeah. Concrete isn't exactly comfortable.

[she just leans forward on his lap, giving him a curious expression. she seems innocent enough.]

Yeah, that'd be a good idea. I need to go find some clothes.

[He's waiting for her to get up, though if she doesn't do so herself, he'll move her himself.]

It's different... It used to be a big castle. It sort of reminded me of Castle Oblivion.

Yeah...it's been like this for about two months, maybe three.

I think there's something like the castle somewhere that way. [He points off in the direction he thinks it is.] Or so I've been told.

[He frowns suddenly for a few seconds, then the frown is gone as soon as it came.]

[she's wondering about that frown]

It's nothing. It just reminded me of something is all.

[Specifically, a name--'Kara'--not that that would really mean anything to Kira.]

Oh. I thought you might've met the other-me that's here.

[nope~ means absolutely nothing to her]

Didn't know there was more than one of you. I've only met a few other girls here.

The other-me is only a baby, so I'm sure you'd remember meeting her. Then again, you'd have met my parents too if you saw her.
