[The older Ri is currently scouting out the new areas of the DR, making note of which places are safe and which should be avoided, especially by small children. All in all, it's been a quiet sort of past couple weeks, and he's glad of it. That doesn't mean he's let his guard down, but his eyes aren't a burning gold color either, so that's a plus. Why don't you make some small talk with him?]

[it's easy to spot you from where he's walking over the bridge from Twilight Town, with a mostly empty basket that looks like it was carrying bread, and Rikka and Kira trotting alongside, happy smiles on their faces as they babble at him. he's got an equally cheerful expression on his face when Kira says something especially amusing, and he and Rikka both start to giggle. Sora bends to kiss her cheek so she doesn't feel like they're picking on her.]

[having left his daughter with the teenaged Akane for a couple of hours, Axel's free to get some fresh air and go for a walk. he wasn't actually looking for Ri, but is glad to have stumbled across him.]

Yeah, pretty busy. She's still a good baby, though, sleeps a lot.

[Axel looks almost too casual, his posture overly relaxed and slouching. what's really going on, that even Ri probably can't see, is that Axel's taking note of all the open spaces, hard surfaces, flammable objects, corners. he's not here to fight, but if it comes to that...]

That's lucky. With the Twins, if one wakes up, the other does, too, even if we keep them apart or they don't cry or anything. It's kind of tiring.

[What are his thoughts when he encounters the younger version of his Riku staring off into the ocean? He's in the surf almost up to his knees, his attention more on the play islands in the distance than that his pants are getting soaked, and he never removed his shoes.]

There's so many Rikus here, and the voice is unfamiliar enough that it doesn't occur to him that it might be someone he should know. After a few moments it'll dawn on him that you're still there, which takes him a little by surprise.]
