[ There isn't really one main reaction to having your life broken into something new and forced, even if it's something you logically know is better. When she steps outside after feeling everything change, Riku's stunned. She's standing outside of what she's known for nearly three years as her home. Something that looks like nothing more than an apartment building now, surrounded by houses. Real homes. She's on a road facing a bridge, and she sees mountains in the distance, past a large flush of green. From the other side she can smell the salty air of seawater. She can even hear seagulls. Across the river she sees the tall castle towers, and she feels completely lost. Where is she? ]

[He would be incredibly impressed if she did simply pick him up, not that he isn't already. He is also just going to wait until they arrive at this elevator before asking more questions, the first of which being because he is confused by how it looks at first sight.]

Where is the door handle?

[She'll just shake her head at that question and lean over to press the down button. The door should open after a moment.]

[She'll feel him jump when it does, but so far he doesn't seem very spooked by this new thing. Mostly curious, and a little disappointed because the space inside is just a small, empty room.]

[She'll try to mask her amusement. But she gives him a little nudge and starts to pull him inside.]

The elevator is basically... a box suspended on cords. It uses electricity to move up and down between the floors so you don't have to use the stairs. You know how a well works?

[He almost balks when she mentions being suspended, but his trust in her is so much that it's only a second of hesitancy before he lets himself be pulled into the deathtrap elevator.]

Oh.. Then there doesn't need to be someone turning the handle to take us down?
