[ Planning to go to the Atlantica room today? Well, there might be some complications, because Demyx is taking up the entrance to it. She's half out of the room itself (what with the door being in the floor), her newly acquired tail swishing to and fro while she rests her head on her arms above the water, perfectly relaxed. Every one in a while she'll duck under and get her head wet, only to come back up and rest her head on her arms again, eying anyone to get close enough a mischievous look. ]

[Then he yoinks her forward just long enough to give her a smooch, then he lets her go and grins at her.]

[ wide, wide eyes, and since he doesn't give her much of a time to respond to it-- GRABS SAM'S WRIST, pulling him back incredibly close to her. ]

[ And with that, she'll let go and kick off to where she's above him, grinning like mad. ]

[So he follows her in and looks around.]

As if you could stop me anyway, has anyone ever told you what Demyxs can do?

I'd heard they can do things with water.

[Folding his arms and watching you carefully with a grin.]

And like I'd want to stop you.

Did you also know that most of us don't have hearts?

[He'd thought Avani was kidding when she mentioned that >_>]

[ She'll swim up to him in one fluid motion, their chests almost bumping. With both of her hands, she'll grab one of his and bring it up so he can touch the place where her heart would be. He should feel nothing. ]

[Sam blinks and looks at her confused.]

But...how....?

[Poor boy doesn't know what to think.]

How what? How it works or how I lost my heart?

[ there's a sort of sad look on her face, but. obviously, it can't be sad-- ]

Well, basically what happens is: Someone's heart gets taken by darkness, and it makes a Heartless. The body, or shell that's left over, becomes a Nobody. A being without a heart. They say we're not meant to exist.. but.. I don't believe that. Either way, we don't actually feel, it's just all memories, or that's what we're told.

[ sighs. ]

As far as how I lost my heart, well.. I made a deal with the wrong person, and got cheated.

[Sam just stares as he raises his free hand up to place it over hers.]

That....that's awful...

[ shrugs. ]

It's life. It's life for most people in this place. We had a goal, Organization XIII, to get our hearts back, but it never happened. What with Sora coming and killing us all off.

[ :| face. ]

But, it's not as bad as it sounds.
