[AND SUDDENLY

a tinybun is not so tiny. in fact, he's looking downright human! about seven or eight, maybe, and a lot like his "mommy" aka Kai. the DR was nice enough to supply him with a fluffy green sweater and some children's denim pants, which is good because he's kind of in a frostbitten garden right now, staring at his new fingers.]

[he's still a little uneven on his feet, far too used to being much closer to the ground and on all fours, but they should make some good time.]

[even when he stumbles or falls, he doesn't seem at all bothered by it. it shouldn't take them very long at all to get to Kai and Axel's room.]

[the door will open in a minute, Kai looking a bit surprised by the visit. Apricot is sort of hiding behind Aqua; not because he's nervous, but because he wants to surprise Kai!]

[Kai looks confused until Apricot springs out from behind Aqua, attaching to Kai's legs.]

[he sounds astonished, disbelieving, just staring down at the child hugging his legs.]
