[AND SUDDENLY

a tinybun is not so tiny. in fact, he's looking downright human! about seven or eight, maybe, and a lot like his "mommy" aka Kai. the DR was nice enough to supply him with a fluffy green sweater and some children's denim pants, which is good because he's kind of in a frostbitten garden right now, staring at his new fingers.]

[Oh hey, don't be too worried about that much larger than normal Tiger walking over to you right now. He's just curious really, since you look human but dont smell human.]

[oh, he's not worried. in fact, he almost seems to bristle and bares his teeth, hissing at the tiger. he always was an odd bun.]

[He pauses, then seems to chuckle before continuing forward. He stops though, before he gets too close and flops onto the ground lazily, crossing his front paws and resting his chin on them. See? He's harmless.]

[it doesn't matter to him. all he knows is that it's an awfully big predator, and he's in a weird body. he'll be scooting away now.]

[Would he understand animal speak? Cause Rajah here is still curious about why you look human and smell animal and would like to ask.]

[he would not, sadly. his language is very much human-y right now, just like his appearance.]

[Awww. And he's grown out of his translating collar. :<

He's still watching by the way, but makes no move to get closer. He's learnt the hard way that most people seem scared of him at first. Namine's the only one who seems completely relaxed around him. It makes meeting new friends slightly difficult.]

[oh, he's not scared necessarily. wary because it's a big predator and he doesn't know if his teeth can chew through bone anymore, but not scared.]

[You'd be too small for him to eat though, even if he was like other tigers. But he was raised to be gentle. He's only dangerous to those who he thinks are a danger to him or his precious ones.

He lifts a large paw, almost in a wave, then lets it thump back onto the ground. Hiiiiiiiii. Seriously, I'm friendly!]

[he recognizes the action and copies it a little, a soft noise that was probably him trying to say something escaping.]

[Tilts his head and stands up again, slowly walking over. He keeps his head lowered though to show he means no harm.]

[Apricot won't move this time, though he's tense and ready to despite the friendly actions.]

[He just walks over and lies down next to him, resting his head on his paws again. See? Friendly!]

[...well, after a bit of silence, he's going to reach over to pat the tiger.]

[Puuuuuurrs. And you could swear that he's smiling. As much as a tiger can, anyway.]

[he's starting to relax thanks to that purring, and will pet him a little.]

[That purring just gets louder and he nuzzles against his hand.]

[the kid lets out a quiet 'hee' at the nuzzling and shifts so he can use both hands for petting and scritching. he certainly knows all the right spots to hit!]

[Congratulations. You have successfully turned Rajah into purring pile of lazy, spoiled tiger. He has no plans to move at all for as long as petting continues.]

[the petting won't last for too much longer, unfortunately, because he's realizing something, and tries to speak. it's not the best, since he's not used to having to sound things out like a human does. he knows how words should sound, but not how to do them himself.]

I havv-e to fffind-uh m-mmmy ooner. Owwner. My ownner. My... mom.

[he's decided that last word sounds better than owner. that means parent, right? it's not a word he hears often.]

[Well Marluxia's just taking a stroll when he spots the child. He misunderstands the reasons for the way the kid is staring at their fingers.]

Are your hands cold?

[he starts at the voice, his eyes going wide at the sight of Marluxia. and then he's hissing rather fiercely, scooting away.]

[Aw. Poor li'l thing. Aqua frowns slightly - then gives the kid a reassuring smile-]

Are you alright?

[Well, that's about the most startling thing he's ever seen and he's recoiling as well. Children hissing? What next?]

I didn't mean to startle you. I mean you no harm.

[And he means that--he's wondering if this reaction is one of his double's fault. It usualy is...]

[he looks away from his hand in surprise, then smiles hesitantly.]

Y-yyes.
