[ Ma familia~

Patrolling for danger? In my dressing room? It's more likely than you think! It's common for Riku, actually, but she certainly has cause! She has to protect her family, make sure everyone's safe and secure and taken care of. She (and they) have to know at the first sign of danger, or a spell, after all. All of her closest family... And her girlfriend, too, much as Riku knows she can take care of herself.

Problem is, she 'can't remember' where half of their rooms are. Explains why she's wandering around with such a determined look on her face, doesn't it? ]

[ooc: bet you're thinking hey, wait, didn't she just post this morning? Where did that one go? Sorry for the confusion, but there was a conflict of interest taking place OOC and some family tree alteration. It's mostly fixed now.]

[Riku sighs heavily, frustrated.]

Great. I don't know what to do, short of knocking on all the doors.

I could send spiders out to look, but you'd owe me.

[She smirks and gestures for him to get to it. She's pretty sure she could find a way to pay him back.]

Go ahead.

[A small handful of spiders is being brought out of his pocket.]

Alright, you lot. Find her family.

[The spiders crawl all over his hand before sinking down on various bits of web to hit the floor and take off.]

[She watches that, wrinkling her nose at how easily he pulled out a handfulof them, and then looking to him again as the spiders start moving.]

Now we just follow.

[The spiders move at a surprising speed. They won't have to walk slowly at all.]

[Well she was going to wait for him, but finding her daughter is more important, so she's heading after them.]

[Don't worry, he's following as well. The spiders seem to know exactly where they're going!]

[She's happy to see that, at least.]

... How is he, anyway?

['He' being Red's son.]

Hell if I know.

[There is a bit of guilt there, because he should know, but...]

Don't even know where he's been lately.

Mm.

[She's pretty glad she doesn't have that kind of relationship with her daughter, to be honest.]

[Hey, he's glad she doesn't, too! Eventually the spiders will stop at a door, crawling up and down the frame as they wait for Riku and Red.]

[She stops when they do, looking at Red before walking up to the door and reaching to open it. It is probably locked, but manners are pushed aside when she's looking for her family.]

[He'll just wait nearby while the spiders skitter across the sides and top of the frame, anxious.]

[Yeah the door's locked. Hang on, she's going to pound on it for a moment.]

...guess no one's home.

Apparently. But who lives here?

[...she's going to ram her shoulder into the door.]

No clue. I can't exactly ask them.

["Them" being the spiders and wow, Riku, you really have no sense of respecting people's privacy, huh.]

[Hey, it didn't work anyway. And no, she doesn't. Not really. But she's giving up now, crossing her arms. ~~lol look a wedding ring.~~]

Fantastic.

Well, they're not home, either way.

[He looks up at the spiders, frowning.]

Go find some other part of her family.

[The spiders... continue to race along the door frame, back and forth, up and down. None of them are moving from it.]

Oi!

...they're not moving.

[Pointing out the obvious is her way of asking what he's expecting them to do.]

They're supposed to be. Only reason they wouldn't is if they didn't think you had any other relatives. But that's stupid.

You're right. I have too many to keep track of, apparently.

[She's backing away from the spiders now, wondering what's up with them.]

The spell must have gotten them too, for some reason. The one that's got us forgetting where people live. They wouldn't be acting like this otherwise.

[She huffs and crosses her arms, looking irritable and worried.]

None of this makes any sense. What's the point?
