Patrolling for danger? In my dressing room? It's more likely than you think! It's common for Riku, actually, but she certainly has cause! She has to protect her family, make sure everyone's safe and secure and taken care of. She (and they) have to know at the first sign of danger, or a spell, after all. All of her closest family... And her girlfriend, too, much as Riku knows she can take care of herself.

Problem is, she 'can't remember' where half of their rooms are. Explains why she's wandering around with such a determined look on her face, doesn't it? ]

[ooc: bet you're thinking hey, wait, didn't she just post this morning? Where did that one go? Sorry for the confusion, but there was a conflict of interest taking place OOC and some family tree alteration. It's mostly fixed now.]

...I can't remember where my sister lives. Either of them. Or my brothers, or anyone. I know where my room is. ...yours too.

Doesn't make sense, does it? I'm not even sure which room my daughter's in. But I've got the hall.

[She thinks. But she won't say that part.]

[She frowns at that, brushing her hair back.]

So it's not just me. What's the point of a spell like this?

[Riku sighs heavily, frustrated.]

Great. I don't know what to do, short of knocking on all the doors.

[Oh thank god. The relief that washes over Riku is visible in the way her shoulders relax and her walk becomes a little less tense.]

[She smiles, not stopping until she reaches her.]

At least, I don't think so. What have you been up to?

I could send spiders out to look, but you'd owe me.

[She smirks and gestures for him to get to it. She's pretty sure she could find a way to pay him back.]

[A small handful of spiders is being brought out of his pocket.]

Alright, you lot. Find her family.

[The spiders crawl all over his hand before sinking down on various bits of web to hit the floor and take off.]

[She watches that, wrinkling her nose at how easily he pulled out a handfulof them, and then looking to him again as the spiders start moving.]

Now we just follow.

[The spiders move at a surprising speed. They won't have to walk slowly at all.]

[Well she was going to wait for him, but finding her daughter is more important, so she's heading after them.]

[Don't worry, he's following as well. The spiders seem to know exactly where they're going!]
