[as is quite often the case, Kai is in the kitchen. why is he in it this time? just the urge to bake, which hits harder the colder it gets~. this time the kitchen smells very strongly of shortbread cookies! as well as earl grey tea, a pot of which is sitting on the counter, freshly made.]

[whoops, cue him bumping his bare hand against the cookie sheet, which is on top of the stove with the cooling cookies. ow, hi burn. he whirls around, one hand closed over the burn so he can heal himself, eyebrows up in surprise.]

[Larxene looks a tad worn out. (She's been having nightmares again.) She glances into the kitchen from beside the doorway before coming in, just in case there's anyone she doesn't want to meet. See, she learns! Eventually.

"No kitty?" Akane stares, wondering why Kai doesn't have a tail anymore.]
