[As usual, this year's party is held at the ball room. Dance music is already playing, mixed in together with creepy sounds and howls. The decorations are creepy at its best, and there are skeletal waiters walking around this time.
The tables are laden with food for various monsters, ghost, blood for the vampires, candy for the children, and normal food for those who are somewhat normal. Though if you're not in costume, that ugly fish sculpture at the giant punch bowl will spew a liquid at you rudely from it's mouth that will immediately put you into a random costume. If you keep hitting it, it will keep doing it, changing your costume into something worse every time.
Gatecrashers with bad intentions will be grabbed, wrapped and tossed out of the room by that giant spider up there on the ceiling, and it will also grab you if you're being selfish to the kiddies about giving them candy.
For those who lack dancing partners, some of those manakins are not there for show. Those will come to life andharass dance with you if you look a little lonely.
Enjoy!]

Yeah, the hat makes it.
[So amused.]
Did you pick it out, or did this place?
no subject
[like a certain other Roxas, cough.]
I found this in my room, too. People keep giving me things to eat!
[he's proudly displaying a pillowcase full of candy and the occasional piece of fruit. he hasn't actually gotten into the candy yet.]
no subject
You went trick or treating?
no subject
[at first glance it appears to be normal candy. but wait- is that a bit of metal sticking out of that apple?]
no subject
[Do your best to hide the frown, Riku.]
Why don't we go over here and see what all you've got, so you know?
no subject
[he doesn't mind sorting through it at all; maybe she can even tell him what some of it is.]
no subject
[She gestures toward ... an empty chair over in this one corner over here. Come, Roxas, we must make sure you don't get murdered.]
no subject
What do you think these are?
no subject
I'm not sure. Let me see them.

They smell really good.
[like a certain batch of pink cupcakes, perhaps.]
no subject
[They look safe. The question is whether or not they are. Should she test one?]
no subject
Lets open it and see what they taste like!
no subject
Hang on. They should taste like chocolate.
[She splits the bag open and shakes two of them out, holding one in her palm and one between her thumb and index finger to look at it closely.]
But you need to be careful, because... Well, it's called 'trick or treat' for a reason. Sometimes people will give you something that looks like candy when it's not.
no subject
That smell's making me feel funny, Riku.
no subject
Funny how?
no subject
Like a.. tingle. In my stomach.
no subject
[She is trashing these things, no doubts.]
no subject
Kind of like.. like a tickle. I don't know. Maybe if I eat one, it'll go away.
no subject
[Why on earth would you want to, in that situation? She's going to train you a watchdog or something, Roxas.]
no subject
[something is clearly interfering with his logic.]
no subject
... I think we should get you something else.
no subject
[he's licking his lips, stepping closer to her to get closer to that bag.]
no subject
Why do you want them so badly?
