[Have one (1) Ventus stumbling out of a random door, looking somewhat bewildered and confused because this? Is not where he wanted to end up.
...Not that it stops him. Ven, being the curious person that he is, just decides to roll with it and starts looking along, eying the long corridor and the doors connected to it. Here goes nothing so he starts trying some doorhandles, knocking when they appear to be locked.

After a couple of doors, he takes a short break and leans against a wall, hands behind his head and staring up at the ceiling.

Bug him? Leave him alone? Stare at him? It's all up to you!]

[because ven has his eyes on the ceiling, he probably doesn't notice at what point vanitas leans back against the opposing wall. he's watching him, but he's not making a sound.]

[And since Vanitas isn't making any noise, Ventus doesn't really become aware of his presence until he looks away from the ceiling.

And nearly has a heart attack. Seriously, Vanitas, how do you do that whole 'Appear out of nowhere' thing? ~~And it's not because of Ven's attention span, no Sir.~~]

[he's a pro at creeping. the fact that ventus is so easy to sneak up on just makes him seem like the god of it.]

Ventus.

Vanitas. [Just seeing that helmet makes Ventus' happy levels pummel into the red numbers.]

How's Terra?

[it sounds like he couldn't care less.]

Still alive and fighting. Don't you dare come near him and Aqua!

[here's a dose of manic laughter.]

I should take that as an invitation.

[That sound will forever give Ventus the creeps.] I told you to leave them alone!

You should concentrate on becoming stronger.

...I'm not going to fight you.

Then I'll fight your friends first.

[it's a simple solution, isn't it?]

And I'll kill them.

[It's too bad Vanitas knows which buttons to push.] Stay away from Terra and Aqua! They have nothing to do with this!

You've left me no choice, Ventus. You will be to blame for their end.

[he sounds amused, and he's opening a portal to make his escape.]

[Well, he had to run into a double at some point, so here! Have a sixteen-year-old Ven passing by, only to stop once he sees his duplicate.

If he looks a bit silly, it's because he's wearing a black cloak that's slightly big for him, probably to hide his Halloween costume.]

Hey, did you just get here?

[...excuse his staring because your voice and looks are really similar to his own but it'S probably something that happens every day-- Oh who's he kidding. Have a curious, wide eyed stare.]

...uhm. Yes? This is kind of freaky...

[Yep, he anticipated that. Shrugging, Ven scratches his cheek a little. This is awkward.]

This whole place is pretty freaky. There's doubles of just about everybody.

[Awkward indeed.]

So you're a double too? Wait no, that sounds wrong. You're... me too? [There, much better.]

Yup! But I'm probably from a different universe than you.

[A beat.]

This place has a habit of bringing people here from all kinds of different worlds.

How is it different?

[Now he looks curious, almost excited.]

That's... weird, usually people are supposed to stay in their worlds, right?

Well, I guess that depends. Some people come from really weird worlds, where the bad guys and good guys are switched, or there aren't even Keyblades!

[It's...complicated.]

That's the thing. This place sorta pulls people out of their worlds and keeps them here for a long time.

[...huh. Complicated indeed.] So there are versions of us which can't wield the Keyblade and stuff?

[Knits his eyebrows together.] I don't think I have the time to be staying here for long.

Yup! And some versions of us that might be dangerous.

[In a bad way. But as for being stuck...]

Well, as long as you're here, it's like you never left, so as soon as you do get back, you'll be right back where you were before. It'll be like everything was frozen the whole time.

[ MAY DAY, MAY DAY.

The last thing he'd expected to see here was a Ven. True, he'd seen Roxas-- well, a few of him, really, but this is his first encounter with an actual Ventus.

So, uh. Pardon "Sora" if he looks a bit startled at first. ]

[Oh well, hello there, familiar feeling boy. You look a lot like someone he knows but you're kind of too tiny and feel very different from that person.

So no hostility from Ven for now though something irks him about the young teen. Like something's off.

Well, better just say hello before his staring creeps "Sora" out.] Hi there!

[ This is beyond weird, but... He'll just have to act natural. Maybe he won't notice if he doesn't act up. ]

Hey! I don't think I've seen you before.

I'm Ventus. Everyone calls me Ven though so feel free to call me that too! [Scratches his cheek and looks around.] Can you tell me where we are?

[And why you feel so familiar?]

Nice to meet you, Ven!

[ Heheheh... even if this is really, really weird. ]

Well, everybody here's called this place the Dressing Room. It's some kinda, uh... crossroads. Whatever that means.

[Rubs the back of his head. Yes, he has no idea how to interpret 'crossroads' as well.] Dressing Room is kind of a weird name...

Yeah, I still don't know why it's called that. Sure, there are closets, but there's lots of other stuff, too!

Like what? [Urge to explore = Rising.]

Well, I saw a couple of rooms that look like the worlds I've visited.
