[There are sounds, once again, coming from beyond the windows of one of the seating rooms. If you heard the ruckus the other day, the mixture of angry teenage voices and gunfire, it may sound familiar.
Moments later, this distant noise is (quite predictably) disrupted by the sound of a crashing window, and the sight of a boy in a dingy gray jacket only barely covering his face in time to protect it from the shattering glass.
He is, obviously, caught more than a little off guard by this. When he finally lands, catching himself with his right arm, he lets out a cry - a piece of glass is now embedded in his hand. The boy is much too panicked to pay too much attention to it, though. He jumps to his feet, lifting off his hood and looking back at the window in confusion.
Hadn't Terra just broken through there a few seconds ago? So why...?
Then the boy, now clearly some version of Ven, gasps as the window begins to reform itself.
That's about when he notices that this absolutely, positively, without a doubt, COULDN'T be the house that he was trying to enter.]
W-what's going on? Terra, are you in here?!

Ven!
[He rounds the corner into the room, hearing the voice.]
Ven, are you okay?!
no subject
[Okay, good. At least Terra's here. THAT part is normal. But everything else? He looks around the room, still appearing slightly panicked.]
What's going on? When I jumped through the window, it was solid, and now...
[-now it's completely reformed again. That. That shouldn't happen.]

Uhhh... You're gonna call me crazy. You have your gun on you?
no subject
[He checks his waist, feeling for the gun held within easy reach. He nods when he finds it, relieved - if he had lost that, they would have been in huge trouble.]
Yeah, it's right here. Are they still following us?
no subject
[He relaxes a bit; you're not cut from the glass, at least, and any injuries from the fight are probably no worse than the ones he himself had two days ago.]
Okay, c'mere. We're gonna sit down and talk about what's going on.

I don't get it, Terra. Did something happen?
no subject
Yeah. Something happened. Something really weird, ridiculous, and supposed to be impossible.
[He sits down, urging him to do the same.]

...this really isn't the house we were trying to run to, is it?
no subject
I was told it's called the Dressing Room. ... You were trying to follow me, right? Running from Vanitas?
no subject
But...what do you mean, Dressing Room? I don't see any clothes around here.
[He looks around the room again, unable to stop his gaze from shifting to the window - poor kid was being shot at just a few minutes ago. It's not an easy thing to calm down from.]
no subject
I don't know why it's called that. But don't worry about Vanitas, he's not coming through that window, I'm sure of it.
[
at least not for a while, apparently.]
