Okay let's see...

[Aqua is standing in the middle of a small room just next to her own that is decorated in various shades of green. She is currently holding a felt starfish in her hand that is attached to a ribbon and studying the walls to find a good place to hang it up, eventually settling on a spot above the changing table.]

There.

[Then she reaches for a turtle plushie and sets it on the dresser in the corner, before looking around at what else she can do before she puts a hand on her stomach and laughs a little.]

I know you want out but you'll just have to wait...

[Xeha'd just been planning on stopping by, but hearing the sounds next door, he'd figured it was worth a look:]

Need a hand?

[She gives a start and looks over her shoulder, giving a nod when she sees who it is.]

Yeah I could use the help at least.

[She nods at the half put-together crib by one wall.]

Could you finish putting that together? The instructions are on the dresser next to the lamp. I marked where I stopped so I wouldn't have to look for it when I finished.

Of course! [He heads on over.] You should've told me - you didn't have to struggle along with this!

[Aqua picks up a pillowcase and folds it before setting it on the stack of bedding she's set on the changing table.]

Sorry.

[She turns around and faces him with a smile.]

So what's been up with you lately?

Don't worry, I just don't want to see you having a hard time! And nothing much. Except - hm. One of my old friends from my world's finally dropped by.

Oh?

He used to look out for me when I was younger. Kind of that crazy uncle so many people have. [He chuckles.] I think I'll have to introduce you two some time.

[She nods and finishes folding up the bed stuff.]

That sounds like a plan.

It'll just be a case of tracking him down, he never seems to be the easiest person to find...

Well, when you do find him, I'd love to meet him.

[She finishes folding the bed stuff then moves to arrange a few more plushies of various kinds of sea life (mostly turtles though)]

[Turtles are good. He can go with turtles.]

I'm sure he'd love to, too. I told him about who was on the way here.

Oh yeah? What did he say about that?

Mostly 'what' and 'how'.

[She giggles and brushes some hair behind her ear.]

You told him about the candy didn't you?

We didn't get that far. It basically went 'who's the mom' - you - 'damn, that kid's going to have potential.' ... Actually, I think you two might've met in the p- ah.

[She turns around, holding a teddy bear wearing a t-shirt with an ocean scene on it.]

Oh really?

[She thinks she knows who it is now.]

Mm. From what I've heard, you didn't get on well... or you in general, I mean. I'm not sure about you specifically. But - trust me. He's got his bad past, but he's always cared about me and always looked out for me, and I'm sure that'll apply to you and the baby as friends and family.

[You are so lucky she does trust you. She just nods and sets the teddy bear next to the lamp.]

Well, when you do manage to find him, feel free to bring him over.

[We'll see how it goes from there.]

[He nods.] Or maybe he'll find me first. Thanks. For - giving this a chance.

Well it's the least I can do, right?

[She goes back to sorting plushies and setting them in various places around the room.]

Still. I really appreciate it.

[He sets about fiddling with the crib; hm, shouldn't be too bad. Okay, slot these sides in like so...]

[She smiles and once she's finished arrnging the plushies, she sits in the rocking chair next to where he's setting the crib up, and will hand him pieces of it whenever he asks her to.]
