[ oops. sorry, dressing room resident #1874. was that your room he just blew up?

forgive him. new guy's lookin' awful glum sitting all by his lonesome on the floor there. ]

[ who's playing innocent? he's completely ignoring you, Larx. his eyes are on the kid. ]

People are trying to live around here without being blown up-

[and she hates being ignored. Akane, meanwhile, tends to think Axels are Good Guys since her "daddy" is one (and her real dad too but she doesn't really remember him.) She starts to toddle forward, until Larxene grabs the back of her shirt.]

[ aw, look, it's a sweet little ball of sunshine trying to defy her mommy. Axel smirks, then slides further away from them to stand up. we can't have that, can we? ]

Are you ignoring me?

[Axels are usually so much more talkative.]

[ aren't they? most of them, anyway. he answers that by streeeetching his arms up high over his head. you say something?]

Say something, already.

[ he shoots her a blank look, arms still straight up high. ]

[beginning to wonder if he's mute or just stupid]

Yeah, I'm talking to you.

["Aful talk!" Akane chips in.]

[ he makes a grand show of rolling his eyes, wagging a finger at Larxene. that same hand goes to within an inch of his throat and slides up over it, a flame bursting into existence out of his mouth. he catches it in his hand, snuffing out the fire.]

[Akane is very impressed by his firebreathing act. She's looking at him with huge eyes, and squeals, "Do 'gain!"]

Hmph. Fine, then.

[well hey, not like it's obvious like that one Marluxia with the big-ass scar on his neck. Whatever happened to him, anyway...? She liked that one. He still talked like she was worth something, even after she got knocked up.]

But quit blowing things up in my hallway.

[ looks like that got the message across. Axel gives her a lazy grin in response, which doesn't say anything one way or another. as for Akane, he'll form a little bird out of fire and fly it around. ]

[Akane shrieks happily, watching it go.]

[ it doesn't stay long before it fades out, flying higher and higher and shrinking until it's nothing. ]

["All gone?"]

Yes, Akane, it's all gone. Come on now.

[ all gone! so's Axel, waaaay down the hall. when did he get down there? ]

[:| that's the way she was going.]

Very funny.

[ sorry? does he look like a joker to you? ]

[Yes.]

What do you want?

[ he cups a hand around his ear. ]

[hmph. she'll just keep going then!]

[ he'll be way the hell up here not caring. ]
