[ oops. sorry, dressing room resident #1874. was that your room he just blew up?

forgive him. new guy's lookin' awful glum sitting all by his lonesome on the floor there. ]

[she was drawn by the explosion. don't mind that female Sora holding a wooden sword running into view.]

[ hey there pretty girl. he looks up but doesn't speak, legs splayed out wide in front of him, inches from the flames. ]

...uh.

[she looks from him to the fire, then back again, sword at her side.]

Did you do that?

[ a shrug. what do you think? ]

So... yes.

[yeah, it's pretty obvious, but still.]

Why?

[ he starts snapping his fingers as if trying to remember, and somewhere down the hall another room explodes. the door hits the opposite wall pretty loudly. ]

[which of course makes her jump a good foot in surprise.]

Hey!

[ she gets a grin, and it's almost the guilty sort. hope she's not expecting an apology. ]

Stop that. What if you blow up someone's room?

[ he starts to stroke his chin, as if that thought never occurred to him. ]

...we have to live here. You can't just go around blowing up rooms. You could totally destroy someone's home that way.

[ he raises an eyebrow at her, then stands, brushing ash and debris from his coat as he goes. ]

[why'd you have to go and do that. now she feels short.]

[ that's because she is short. pipsqueak. once he's satisfied with the state of his clothes, he looks her up and down. ]

[which makes her fidget a bit.]

What?

[ the way he's grinning is suggestive of laughter, but he just shrugs again. if Sora's paying attention, she may notice the way the flames have spread along the outer wall. ]

[she's not paying attention to that; her attention is solely on Axel, and she is frowning.]

What's so funny?

[ he reaches over and pokes that little button nose of hers. ]

Hey!

[her nose is now being covered by her free hand. it'd be both, but she's still got the wooden sword in one.]

[ too easy. his grin turns into a smirk, and Axel rolls his eyes and walks right past her. ]

[she huffs and watches him for a moment- what's the fire doing right now?]

[ the state of the hallway is teetering on inferno. ]

[...well shit.]

Hey! Can't you put out the fire?!

[whyyyy are there no water spells?]

[ he glances back at her, pointing at himself questioningly. ]

Well you made it, didn't you?
