[This Aqua had been climbing onto the counter in the main kitchen to get some cookies for her and Terra when the flood hit.

Now she's sitting as far back from the edge of the counter as she can, huggng the cookie jar and trying not to panic at all the water.

Was Terra okay? Who knows?]

[The boy in question is half-wading, half-swimming, half-bouncing around in the water, grabbing onto whatever railings and accessories on the wall he can and using his wooden key as a float, trying to look like he is completely not scared...]

Terra!

[She lets out a yelp when a wave splashes up above the edge of the counter, getting her socks wet.]

Aqua! - [He lets out an eep at the sight.] I'm coming! I'm [splash] coming!

Hurry or it's gonna wash me away or something!

[she's five, she doesn't know any better XD]

I'm coming I'm [glub] coming!

[He makes a wild attempt to climb up after her.]

[Aqua reaches over and helps him up as best she can.]

Careful!

[Oh why hadn't Master taught them to swim before they ended up here?]

Okay, I'm going to be - [oof, he'll be scrabbling on up, and - well, he's up, his key isn't.]

No!

[Aqua tries to reach for Terra's key and slips, going into the water with a scream. She does grab it however and manages to hang on to it for dear life as she doggy paddles.]

Ah! Aqua!

[He leans down to the edge of the table and reaches a hand out.]

I'll get you! I'll pull you up!

[Aqua reaches for his hand and misses a couple of times but eventually grabs on, still hanging on to his key with the other.]

Gotcha!

Oof! Ngh, okay... [lean back, lean back, how the heck is she this heavy she's littler than him...]

[~~Blame the cookies or maybe the key she's holding?~~ after a few minute's struggle she manages to get back on the counter, bringing the key with her and handing it to Terra.]

Here.

[She retreats back across the counter to the wall shivering from the cold water.]

Why didn't Master teach us to swim before we ended up here? Would've been easier.

[Pout]

[He grabs onto it gratefully.] Thanks! I dunno. Maybe he had the other stuff to teach us...

Yeah I guess.

[Pulls the cookie jar over beside her and moves it between them.]

I was looking for cookies for us when this happened, want one?

Oh, please! [He grins. Cookies make even floods from hell better.]

[Aqua giggles and takes two cookies out of the jar, handing Terra one and nibbling on the other.]

Here you go.

[Nomnom]

So do you think we'll be stuck here until this is over?

I dunno. It's a bit small to be stuck here. But we have food! [He brandishes the cookie, and promptly chows down on it.]

[Giggles]

Yeah...maybe until a grownup finds us...or something...

[Finishes her cookie and gets another.]

They've got to find us here, right? Everyone does stuff in the kitchen!

Yeah!

So we just...

[stretch out as best as possible-]

...wait.

Uh huh.

[Moves the cookie jar to his lap and leans against him for whatever body heat she can get, she's cold.]

Wish we had a blanket or something, I'm cold.

[He hugs back for warmth's sake. Now is not a time to be considering issues of cooties.]

Yeah. I wish it was all warm. Like a big bath.

Yeah. then I wouldn't have minded falling in.

[News that would shock him to the core of his seven year old soul. Then again, BFF cooties wouldn't and don't matter.]

There could be bubbles in it! And ... ducks. And those ring things.

Uh huh! And it could be like we were in the beach room or something. Just without the beach.

Yeah. It'd be fun.

[He curls up a bit.]

Not all cold.

Yeah...

[munches her cookie and watches the door for grownups]
