[It's been a long time coming, but at least one of Xeha's projects seems to be coming to fruition. Given various things, he hasn't really been thinking about it, but...
He's got a nice little computer sitting in front of him on one of the kitchen tables - sleek, shiny, a little integrated system with no obvious power source. From panels in the side, it's possible to see faint yellow glows.

And on the screen, a bare-bones command line prompt. Browsing a book nearby, he pops in commands - text and crude graphics work their way onto the monitor.

He smiles. Magic and technology. Just up his street.]

[He gives her a look, a smile. Hm. Yeah, he can notice the tired.]

Yeah. Hey... how're you doing?

[she smiles a bit, though it's not nearly as cheerful as she'd been the last time they met.]

I'm okay. What's that?

[Aww. Must've had a bad day, he thinks. But for now... All proud-]

Computer I've been building. I modified its systems to work off channelled thunder-type magic rather than normal power sources. Now I'm just trying to set it up...

Yeah, it was. I think I blew up more bits than I actually got to work. [He laughs, scratches his head.] But it was fun.

Uh... I started building this about a year ago, but I got kind of distracted with various things. [A shrug.] It happens, I guess.

Yeah, I can understand that. Still, congratulations on finishing it.

Thanks. As soon as I can get the programs loaded here, I'm all done! [He gives a smile. Slightly quieter now-] How've you been?

[her expression falls a bit at the question and she looks away.]

[Yeah, that's a pretty non-okay looking okay, but he'll restrain his frustrated curiosity and give a nod back.]

[she feels kind of bad being vague and rubs her arm, wondering what to say.]

Yeah, it is. Just a light burst, focused in a piece of lightning material. Took me ages to get right...

Aw. Thank you! [He looks kind of proud.] I just try to keep busy, you know? I train where I can, but it's nice to try different things.

You must be very smart. I dont know many people who'd build a computer just to keep busy. I think you have a lot of potential.

Well, I try. I was training as a scientist before I - um, knew I was a keybearer.

Do you rely a lot on logic then?

Usually. I know there's some things that it doesn't always work for, but most of the time? [He laughs.] Yeah. I do.

Fair enough. I just asked because some of the things that I'll be teaching you, will require you to trust your instincts, more than logic. Though that will come with experience.

[He nods.] Okay. It's not what I'm used to, but - I guess this whole thing isn't going to be what I'm used to, right?

Very likely. But you'll get used to it. Instinct can be a powerful weapon. We're all born with it, but many forget how to listen to it, or trust it as we get older.

For example, fish are born knowing how to swim. Birds know how to fly. We learn to crawl and, though we get a little help as well, walk. That's all instinct. And it can continue to help us with many things in life. Mun knows not what she's talking about. That may not have made sense. ^^;

From that point of view? Okay, that much I get. [He nods.] And no-one ever told me how to use the keyblade to begin with that I remember... so that's almost the same thing, I suppose. - Though probably a bit more complicated.
