[HALF-NAKED KAI. I mean.

well, technically true. Kai's in the beach room today, dozing on a beach blanket and dressed in only a pair of swim trunks, with faint scarring on his stomach all that's left of the attack on his Gemini. he'd gone swimming earlier, just enjoying some alone time. after all, with all the shit that happened in August, making him miss having a proper birthday (as well as making Axel miss his), he figures he deserved some time to just relax. of course, now that he's had some of that time, he won't mind if he's woken up.]

(ooc: So he turned 18 last month. :V)

Are those the only ones to look out for? I think it'll be pretty easy to remember to stay away from people with things sticking up from their head.

Well, anyone in a long black coat has a chance of being dangerous, really. The ones with spiky red hair are usually at least decent, if a little confusing. Umm... pink hair usually means bad news, though there's one man with pink hair who's an okay person.

How can you tell which one is the okay one?

Well, he doesn't try to get into your pants, for one thing.

[oh, that wasn't bitter at all. can you tell he's had a run-in or two with the not okay one?]

Well, that's not entirely accurate anymore, I guess. There's a Marluxia here who's... really dangerous. He has- had- a habit of raping people, but he's been caught and locked up. Now there's just the good one and maybe a couple regular ones. They're bad guys, but not the same as the one that's locked up.

[he looks shocked, and a little disturbed. sure, you hear about people like that, but Destiny Islands was always safe from that sort of thing.]

[yeah, it was definitely shocking for him, running into people like that.]

I'm positive. My boyfriend was one of the people who worked on the seals to keep him in, as well as an older version of me here.

[laughs a bit at that.]

Well, you know how there are doubles here, right? There's a version of me who's been here for fifteen years, then got sent back to this time. As for the boyfriend, have you seen the spiky redheads around? He's one of those.

[seriously though, feel free to notice the ring on his hand.]

Mm. It doesn't happen to everyone, don't worry. I don't really mind that I'll be stuck here, even if I miss the Islands, since I've got my boyfriend, and all the friends here that I'd lose if I got sent home.

[he looks down at the ring with a soft smile, spinning it a little with his other hand.]

[he calms down a little seeing that expression, getting the feeling that whoever the boyfriend is, he must be a really nice guy.]

It's.. it's pretty nice.

[he really is, and Kai loves him more than anything~.]

[he goes red and laughs, shaking his head.]

No, but it's kind of unspoken. I call him my boyfriend, but he's a lot more than that. It just feels strange to say anything else.

We already have, actually. I got one, skinned it, and made us smoothies!
