[as much as Sora here would like to continue hiding down the hallway fashioned after Castle Oblivion or the beach room- pretty much the only places around here that feel familiar- a guy's gotta eat once in a while. so he's waiting around in the kitchen for the stove to heat up, and standing over the kitchen table armed with a bag of taffy to tear through in the meantime.]

[his cards are spread out across the table, like he's been trying to arrange them, but lost interest halfway through the process. every time Sora looks at them, he's reminded of how everything he remembers is supposed to be wrong, that Naminé is wrong- he meant to ask the Naminé he's been staying with about the truth, but just hasn't found the right words for it. how do you ask your best friend if she's a liar?]

[in a brief moment of frustration, he sweeps his hand across the table angrily, sending the cards fluttering off the table and about the room, and keeps swiping at the table until it's clear, so he doesn't have to look at them anymore.]

[he looks a little sheepish, and scrambles to pick up his cards after stuffing the bag of taffy in his pocket. gotta keep the important stuff on you, after all.]

[pauses, and rubs the back of his head awkwardly.]

I.. I know you said that there would be people here who would tell me that my memories of you are wrong, and I'm supposed to remember a different girl. But it'd make me feel a lot better if I heard the truth from you, Naminé. This is real.. isn't it?

[ she seems saddened, maybe hurt, that Sora would even think to question his memories of her. ]

[Zexion enters just as the cards go flying. For a brief moment he watches them as they flutter down to the floor. Then slowly he starts gathering them. He doesn't speak as he collects them.]

Whatever issues you may have, throwing items around will accomplish nothing. [He straightens up and holds out the cards he's collected.]

[When you don't take the cards he just lays them on the table and walks by, towards the cupboards. But he'll keep talking as he goes about finding something to eat.]

There are better ways to vent. Talking, for one. [It's basicly his way of offering to listen, if that's what you want. He's going to be here a while anyway, so if you want to talk he'll lend an ear.]

[... his smile is a slightly embarrassed one; he bends down to scoop up the closest handful of cards.]

Yeah.. I'm just waiting for the stove.

Fish! I haven't had any good fish in a while, so I caught some in the beach room. You want some, Naminé?

[She smiles warmly, placing the cards she's picked up on the table.]

[... Sora turns a little pink, and nods- the stove is ready, so he turns toward the sink, where he's storing the fish he'd cleaned, and starts to plop them onto a pan on the stove. this is about the only thing Sora can cook really well.]
