[hi dressing room, there's suddenly a very large CRASH as a bandersnatch comes barreling through a wall, skidding to a stop after crashing through a couple of tables, a lamp, and a couch. there's dust flying everywhere now, and bits of wall littering the floor. the hole seals itself up almost immediately, which the bandersnatch discovers once it's realized that this is not where it meant to end up, and turns ponderously around to leave, only to find that it can't. cue headbutting of the wall, and clawing at it in distress, which leaves large gouges in the wall that heal over just as quickly.]

((ooc: sorry hi, I went on another AiW binge. at least I don't have to be clever for this one, like I did with the Hatter. >_>;;))

[BELLOWS, and bounds the twenty or so feet over to him, pulling up sharply and scooping up all the muffins with its giant tongue, practically inhaling them, and covering Kai's hand and forearm with slobber.]

[AGH DON'T EAT ME- oh. ew, but at least he's still whole.]

Er...

[snorgles his hair curiously, and possibly as thanks. possibly also to check for more muffins, not that it was really able to taste much of anything, with such relatively tiny muffins going into such a gigantic mouth. THEY SMELLED GOOD, THOUGH.

when no more food is forthcoming, it huffs at him and pads back to its spot by the wall, scratching at it a little less enthusiastically now.]

[he follows slowly, looking uncertain.]

It's not going to let you through, big guy.

[rears up slightly to drag its claws ALL the way down the wall, and then whuffs dejectedly and plops down to sit when that doesn't accomplish anything.]

[...aw, you poor thing. he reaches out hesitantly to pat it on the shoulder.]

We're all stuck here. Don't worry, a lot of people go home after a while.

[grumbles a little, in the manner of someone who clearly does not believe they're being told, and turns to check him for muffins again, almost knocking him over. it's a little like having a really big dog with nothing between off and WHARRRGARBL.]

[oof. sorry, no magically appearing muffins here, big guy.]

You hungry? We can probably find you something more filling to eat.

[but. wrinkles its nose at him and studies him for a moment, and then whuffs at him agreeably. it's obviously a rather intelligent creature, it just has some control and rage issues. \o/]

Alright. Don't suppose you could tell me somehow what you like best, huh?

[it opens its gigantic mouth for a moment in answer. see all of my sharp teeth. meat is generally preferred, but pretty much anything goes (much like your boyfriend).]

[suddenly, my boyfriend is a bandersnatch. but no, he gets the idea, and nods.]

I'm not sure how much meat is in the fridge... but I know there's a meat freezer somewhere around here.

[meeeeeeeeeeeeat. it clearly recognizes that word, and stamps its front paws excitedly. I hope there's a whole cow in that meat freezer, though how you'd defrost it is a mystery. :|a]

[...fire magic! he laughs at the reaction and pats the creature once more.]

Let's go look for that meat freezer.

[ :U it whuffs again, headbutting him gently and then looking expectantly at him. lead the way, feeding-person!]

Easy there. Don't want to knock me over, right?

[his tone is teasing, but he's starting to lead the way.]

[pads after him, looking around curiously as they go. the next question will be if it can fit into any of the important rooms, like the room with food. :|a]

[if it can't, Kai will drag food out, don't you worry.]

[you are so awesome. \o/ it sniffs the floor as they go; there are so many people and smells here. :O]

[hmmm. he thinks it was down this way...]

[jfnsjknv jumps and growls as a door slams down a cross-hallway, not too far from them, looking wildly around for the source of the noise.]

Calm down, big guy! It was just a door. It happens a lot here.

[huffs and shakes itself, tail thumping against the floor. off we go, then. this "door" business will take some getting used to.]

[the bandersnatch gets a pat and off they go again! it won't be too long before the meat freezer is found, unsurprisingly near one of the smaller kitchens.]

...there's no way you're going to fit through that door.

[...sits. could make a bigger door, but.]
