So you're here too, huh?
[This Ven is walking around with a dire wolf trailing after him, nosing at his feet but easily keeping up with the boy. After a while, he sits down on the floor on one of the common rooms with the wolf, and almost as if it's the most natural thing ever, he starts tossing a marker up and down, watching the crowd contemplatively while scratching the wolf's head.
Unlike other Vens though, he doesn't have a wristband.]

[When she entered that particular common room with Vanora in tow (thank goodness she'd been allowed to keep her, at least), she barely spared a glance at the other occupant of the room.
Could you blame her for not wanting to be disappointed again?Keeping her distance all the same, she sat down on one of the chairs in the room and, more out of habit than anything, folded her hands in her lap. Catching sight of the band on her wrist, she paused, missing the way Vanora suddenly perked up next to her. Letting out a little sigh, Naminé pressed her other hand over her wrist. It was funny, almost, that when she'd first arrived a short time ago that it had seemed like that promise was going to be a lot easier to keep than she'd imagined. Now? Now... it almost seemed even farther away.][A faint thumping noise alerted her to the fact that Vanora's tail had begun to wag very quickly. Flinching at the sudden distraction, she looked over at her - although she would probably soon wish she'd looked the direction the wolf was.]
What is it?

[Funny. Oro did the same thing. Ven only had a few seconds to spare when the wolf stands up and practically nudges him over, trying to prod him somewhere.]
What, what is it-- ow! Okay, okay!

[The still not full-grown wolf whined loudly, shifting in place restlessly for a few seconds before standing up and barking excitedly. Her owner stood up as well, startled at her pet's behavior.]
Van, wh--
[It wasn't as if she would have gotten an answer in the first place, but before Naminé could even finish asking what was wrong, the wolf was already bounding off toward the rooms other occupants. Not sure what had gotten into her (Van hadn't reacted so strongly with any of the other residents), Naminé hurried after her. But once she caught sight of just who Vanora was headed towards, Naminé stopped short, and so did her breath. Was that-- Oro? So then why was he with--]
[Ven.]

-- Namine?!

[Could it be? Was it even possible? There were so many people here that looked exactly like him, so many people that looked like her - certainly there could be one of him that was just as mistaken as her, or one of him with a wolf that looked like Oro, but-- but Vanora was already sniffing happily at the other wolf. Naminé held very still, staring at him hard, almost daring to hope that maybe, maybe--]
[...He wasn't wearing a wristband. He wasn't wearing a wristband. But-- that didn't mean anything, even though as her eyes darted to his wrist they widened. He could have just... lost it, or left it in his room. She swallowed and tried to blink away her surprise. Was it worth it to hope? Slowly, she inhaled, then exhaled a sigh. Then she clasped her hands behind her, one of her fingers drifting over the band on her own wrist.]
...I'm sorry. I think my... dog may have mistaken you for someone else.

...Ven.

[You got a dire wolf running towards you and circling your legs, Aqua. Ven stands up immediately.]
no subject
It's nothing. I'm just glad to see you. ...Both of you.
[Scritcheees.]

[How quickly he confesses to being a bad pet owner. At least he'd had good intentions when he'd tried to release the big, hairy animal back into "the wild". Terra stands in one of the room's doorways and, after glancing over his shoulder to make sure he's not in anyone's way, leans over against the frame. He smiles a little, his expression soft but tired as he folds his arms over his chest.]
I think you made his day.
no subject
[And YOU say he's the bad pet owner. Ven gives Oro all the pettings he needs, arranging himself on the floor properly while looking up at Terra.]
I know it's not that dangerous here, but how long did you had him before again?
no subject
[Hand wave. He's no expert on wolf behavior. You'd think he would have learned more after all that time spent around one but noooo. He watches as Oro leans into the petting. Spoiled brat wolf.]
It was a year this March.
no subject
[Not to mention Ven did nothing but spoil him ever since he arrived on World's End.]
See? You can't abandon him now. The two of you have been together that long.
no subject
[Scoff.]
I wasn't abandoning him... I was just giving him options.
[Really.]

...he's also staring at the wolf.]
no subject
Why do you have that?
no subject
[He shrugs.]
So what's with the wolf?
no subject
[Watch him give Riku a dubious look. Oro himself looks a little wary too, sensing Ven's apprehension. Ven can't fathom why any Terra would give away their good luck charm.]

[Wolf sniffing at your shoes, Austin.]
no subject
[Because Austin is kneeling down to offer his hand for sniffing.]
no subject
Nope! He's friendly.
[Oro does sniff! Before nudging his head against Austin's hand. It's warm.]
no subject
It's like a giant bird. A lot of people around here carry the chicks as pets, but when they grow up they're big enough to ride on. Different colors do different things too.
