[That button stayed clicked in for a good five seconds before ejecting, and the door creaked open...






This guy here is so hanging upside down, flailing and stuck in a rope trap by his ankle, except that rope is made out of red ribbon, and for some reason, it seems to be swinging him around and bonking him into walls.

Lets out a yelp with each wall bump, oofing and scrambling to try and grab onto the wall before the ribbon sends him flying the other direction.]

[Crashes right into her when she gets too close and suddenly gets dropped, knocking them both to the floor. Hi ribbon, why are you tying the both of them up now--


Quickly struggles with the ridiculously unbreakable ribbon (he shot fire at that thing so many times, why won't it buuuurn).] AH-- don't let it catch you too!

[Struggling.. whoops, sorry Sora, it tied tightly around them, stuck face to face and almost nose to nose. Awkwardly tries to free one arm and shuffles in attempt to at least put some space, but that ribbon isn't having any of that.]

But no, Avani lets her curiosity get away from her too much around here and presses the button.]

[With a loud click, the button stuck for a moment before popping out and creaking the door open.

Inside, Riku had his keyblade out, fending off several chains that were seemingly trying to catch him. He looked a bit worn down, having been at this for nearly an hour, trapped in the room with no doors..

Well now, convenient escape route has appeared! Don't let that door shut so soon now, Riku wants out.]

[Her keyblade is out and she is trying to bat the chains away from him with magic to get him out.]

Sure, the chains were now leaving Riku alone, but they were whole-heartedly going after Avani now, trying to catch her instead. Riku wasn't about to just leave her to it and grunts obligingly, trying to make his way towards the door.]

If we can get out before it, we can shut the door and trap it here.

[gee, doesn't this look interesting. Axel's peering each way down the hall, then steps to the side of the door the button is on before actually pushing it. it's a Big Red Button, you don't just push those things without some sort of preparation!]

[The button sunk in and stuck, making an odd clunking noise -- almost like gears turning? -- before the door opened inward.

Inside? A very unfortunate Roxas who was struggling despite three odd black leather straps were hanging onto his left arm and torso, attempting to drag him to the far wall where a massive stove hissed.

Possessed? I think so.

Help a guy out? Even if his shoes had good grips, Roxas was swinging his keyblade and attacking the capturing straps with all his might and all they did was twange like a guitar string.]

[he doesn't even think before he reacts, flinging both his flaming chakrams at the straps, not doubting for a second that his own weapon will work against them.]

[Roxas let out a surprised sound when one of those chakrams sliced through the strap that had been clinging to his torso, stumbling before quickly recatching his balance as the other straps double their efforts in dragging him.]

Axel! [Sharp pointy things seem to work better than blunt keyshaped things. Trusting Axel is easy though, a half smile dragging onto his face.</small.]

[he calls them back instantly only to throw them again, one at the straps and the other going right for the oven, a line of fire racing over the ground toward it.]

[The oven let out a possessed roar and shot a slab of leather out to swat that weapon away, this time the blades being ineffective though it left those pieces on fire, moving to attack Axel with the flames and still try to yank Roxas back with the other two.

With the other chakram flying towards the last two straps, they actually slapped the ground and bounced, yanking Roxas right off his feet, where he let out a yell of surprise before an oof when he hits the wall.]

[using flames on him isn't going to work, buddy. Axel isn't wasting any time with chit-chat, retrieving his chakrams once again. this time he dives right into the fray, going for the straps holding Roxas again with some combos]

[That button? Made a weird noise, like grating metal on metal before outright falling off as the door creaked in.

Inside, Kairi looks like she has her hands full. No, seriously, she's tied up. Struggling to get free of a silky red ribbon, she lets out a squawk when she falls over, totally tangled.]

His darkness gives him away too.]

D-don't just stand there laughing! Help me! [Struggles a bit but that ribbon is going to start dragging her across the room and smack her against a wall along the way of lifting her up.]

[He probably would have just kept laughing for a bit, but he's not liking what that ribbon's doing now. So he'll hurry over, keyblade appearing in his hand so he can cut the ribbons away.]

[The good news? The ribbon quit dragging her.

The bad news? Those ribbons bounced the attacks right off like they were made of rubber. It won't help that they then hefted Kairi higher, then swinging her into him as an 'attack'.]

[Dammit. He'll dismiss his keyblade to try to catch her then. And, if the ribbons will let him, which they probably wont, he'll try to pull the ribbons off of her.]
