[Wheezing, this Riku was trying to pick himself up from the hallway floor and staring with near horror at the door he had just been thrown through.]

Sora! Ngh... [There's a pretty bad looking wound on his hip, but Riku is forcing himself to get up to his feet, limping towards the door. It's a shame it's clearly the beach room instead of that strange empty room where he and Sora were fighting Xemnas.]

Sora! [Yeah. Thanks dressing room, he's beginning to panic. Sure, Sora can fight on his own but Riku wants to be there if something like that last attack happens again.]

Alternate worlds..? [Curious, but he doesn't think he has time to chat for long.] Huh. Well.. at least this place should help. I need to get back to help Sora. [Taking a few steps and glancing down the row of doors, Riku frowned.]

[Bites her lip.]

I'm sorry, but, you cant. Once this place pulls you in, only it can let you go. You cant leave on your own.

But... you said they're all connected. I just came in through one, right? [Approaches a door and pulls it open, what a nice hot desert breeze wafting in.]

It pulls people in from all the different worlds, yes. But you wont be able to get back unless it lets you.

But, I've been told that time in your world wont move while your here. So, when it does send you back, it'll be the same as when you left.

Really now. [That isn't disbelief, but... the news isn't so great to him. Furrowing his eyebrows together, he took the few steps to be back at the door he first came in through, staring out at the sand and shore.]

I guess it's good that the time in mine doesn't move but... I want to know when it sends me back so I can be ready.

[Sighs.]

I'm sorry.

[She wishes she could do more to help. :<]

[Sighing, he rubbed his face a little before scratching his cheek.] ... It's fine, it's not your fault.

...You're taking this all very well. It's usually more of a shock.

Yeah? I must be getting used to stuff like this. That's probably not a good thing, since I can't be pleasently surprised anymore.. [Snorts and gives a faint 'heh' about that last bit.]

It does kind of explain why I'm seeing you here. Last I recall, you had joined with Kairi.

[...Right. She's heard about that.

Well. Here's hoping she doesn't get sent home. As nice as it would be to be whole, she just cant give up everything she's got here.]

You'll be seeing a lot of people you wouldn't expect to see. Even doubles of yourself and people you know.

[Raises his eyebrow.] Doubles of myself? So should I really expect to see everyone, even people who should be.. [Dead? Yeah, he's not looking forward to running into Organization people again, but especially possibly running into Ansem. Do not want.]

[Nods. She can guess what he's thinking.]

It really is better to just, expect the unexpected in this place. Be ready for anything. Cause anything can happen.

Right. [Nods then and sighs quietly, as if mentally preparing himself will make him ready for anything. It will still wind up being a nasty surprise depending who he runs into though.]

[Quietly smiling, Riku wound up looking back through the door at the beach, letting out a soft sigh. It looked just like the beach at home, and the sound of the waves was distinctly... warm.]
