[ Riku would like to think that, one day, she'll get over this. She knows she's herself now, no one else, but there are times when the effects Ansem had on her really make themselves known. And she's really getting sick of this neverending cycle. Especially when even her skin changes colors.

She's kneeling just inside the entrance to Halloween Town, bent over so far that her hair brushes across the ground. Her forehead rests across one arm for support, fingers digging into the dirt, while the other hand clutches at her chest. Her altered appearance aside (and we don't mean her normal black costume), there might be something more worrying about this picture. There are Shadows rising from the floor around her. ]

Does she? Then it is impressive to see what lengths she will go to in effort to hold back the inevitable. Even now, to continue to put those she cares for at risk.

[Those Darkballs are rising up after Ri as Guardian rises behind her. It might not matter to Ri, but it's easy for her words to leave Riku shaken.]

*Ri will do his best to flap out of the way of those Darkballs; he can't exactly fight normally like this but like hell he'll let Ansem know that*

Don't listen to her, Riku-pi! I know you're strong! And if I get into another fight, 'bug is gonna make me eat a whole plate of broccoli, so just kill the bitch right now.

[Chomp chomp chomp- they're coming for you, Ri.

Riku is holding her head with her free hand, looking pained but angry. That's a good sign, since it means she's not buying into Ansem's words. ...well, not enough to affect her thinking.]

I know...

[She doesn't have much to say over the matter, considering she launches herself at Ansem again, but this time Way to Dawn clashes with Guardian's crossed arms.]

*oh crap not good, he's going to do his best to get out of the way of the Darkballs, because the one thing he can do in this form he doesn't want to*

You've kicked her ass before!

[She gets sent back pretty hard by those arms, and Guardian slams into her hard, fingers flexing like he's getting ready to grab her.]

*he hates this flying thing and tries to get closer to your fight*

[Don't worry, she's backing up and firing off some (stronger than normal) dark firagas. It's making her severely unbalanced, but it's doing damage! But Ansem sees you there, Ri, and those look like Neoshadows twitching in the ground.]

*haha Neoshadows can't jump and he's high up enough in the air... hopefully*

[They're only meant to keep him away from her, especially now, as Guardian goes into the ground so he can do his little pop-up trick and try and catch her off-guard. Riku's not having any of that.]

[It's unfortunate that the move makes Ansem all but invisible - Riku takes advantage of the Guardian's ground-restriction to leap up at her, but the forcefield makes Way to Dawn bounce off. Ansem catches Riku by the front of her shirt in a tight grip.]

[Riku's growling, struggling and trying to rip Ansem's hand off with her free one. It doesn't appear to be working, but she hasn't forgotten her weapon. She's about to use it when Ansem puts her other hand over Riku's eyes.]

[Ansem vanishes instantly before any contact could be made, dropping a screaming Riku to the ground.]
