[ good morning, DR. Your sea is boiling today.

Or—if not actually that—at least there's some bubbles floating up from the ocean in the beach room. Look closely, and you might see something uncannier: faint flashes of colorful lights coming from deep below the waves.

And, glistening on the surface of those bubbles—just a fleeting glimpse of whatever you might want the most, at this very moment.

Well.

The door to Atlantica is right there. Investigate? ]

[ excellent choice, my derpy friend. Just swim past that creepy-looking rock, and Ven will be able to see exactly where all those lights and bubbles are coming from. But what with the glowing red-hot vents, those twisting shadows on the walls... no, the path up to entrance of that cave doesn't exactly look friendly, moreso since it resembles the gaping, fang-filled mouth of an anglerfish.

...on the other hand, there's some interesting sounds coming from said cave. Laughter and exclamations—someone's clearly having fun. ]

[ Atlantica, the home of merfolk and other more... unpleasant beings—a place usually unreachable to those without a least a few fishy characteristics. Luckily, gaining fins and the ability to breathe underwater is as simple as just walking through the door. The bubbles and lights are emanating from an ominous-looking cave, each burst accompanied by delighted (if somewhat malicious) laughter.
