[Anyone wandering by the Land of Departure room will likely spot her sitting just near the door, working on a few things. In her hands, she's making another set of charms of various colors. There's one set to the side, however, that is a brilliantly shining emerald. She's had that one finished for a while, and has yet to give it to its new owner. But there are a few others circling her in other shapes and colors, one in the form of a small key and another that looks oddly enough like a rain drop.

She looks pleased, though, and happily engrossed in her work. Aqua hums quietly, putting the finishing touches on the one in her hand.]

['sup. It's that one Riku again! He's just passing by but, he does wander on in upon spotting Aqua.]

Charms, huh?

[She looks up, nodding.]

I promised someone I'd make one for him. The rest are just to pass the time. [She smiles.] I got tired of training for the day.

Can't blame you there. Train too much, and you'll just wind up swamped.

[He laughs quietly, reaching for the similarly shaped charm on his belt. It's made of thalassa shells, but its purpose is more or less the same.]

And becoming obsessed with it.

[It's a light joke, but she doesn't quite laugh. Her eyes catch sight of the charm, and she nods.]

Someone important to you too?

Not something I plan on doing. Slacking's not my style, but even I've got my limits.

[Nodding, Riku puts the charm back on his belt.]

Yeah. It's Kairi's good luck charm. Gave it to me a while back.

I wouldn't think that of you. But too much training will just wear a person down, even if they're a master or not.

[She smiles a little more.]

Is she your most important person, then?

Yeah, I know. Still, I could probably use some more training. Have to be on the top of my game if I do leave again.

[... congratulations, Aqua. You managed to get Riku's face a tiny bit pink, though only for a moment. He then proceeds to nod.]

She and Sora, yeah.

How long have you been here, again?

[Aqua laughs softly, mostly at the situation, as she nods knowingly.]

I'm not surprised. You three are connected, and always will be.

Two years, basically. I left for a while last year, but it was only about a week here, two months back home.

[Connected, huh? Hmm...]

Guess you're right. If nothing else, I'm still going to find a way to knock some sense into Sora. Somebody has to.

And you haven't practiced or anything?

[Well, he's not training like she used to. It would make sense. Hm, that's similar too...]

I guess so. He hasn't shown up here, the one from your world?

No, I've practiced alright. It's just kind of an on and off thing. Can't always use the simulation room. It's a pretty popular place to train.

[And he nods, though there's a very visible frown on his face.]

His Nobody has.

You don't need a simulation room to practice. Don't you have sparring partners?

[She tilts her head.]

I've heard that word a lot. What's a Nobody?

Partners? Not exactly. I still train even when I'm not in there, it's just easier to train against something that moves. Dummies and barrels can only go so far.

[Ahh...where to start?]

They're basically what's left when someone loses their heart.

[Where can he explore today? Well, there's a new room!

A really cool room! Sora hasn't spotted Aqua just yet. He's too busy looking around. Silly kid.]

[She glances up once, spotting him, and then does a double-take. So that's Sora, years later. She pauses and watches him look around, hands moving on their own to finish the edges of the charm. Aqua's much too fascinated with seeing him again to really care if she's staring.]

I wonder what this place is called.

[Nope, still hasn't noticed. He's at awe at the sky-- and the view! Actually, the stars remind him of Traverse Town.

He turns around, though, and then he notices Aqua and promptly stares right back. Is that...?]

No way...

Land of Departure.

[She gathers the charms she has and pockets them, standing slowly. Does he remember her? She's pretty sure he does.]

Hello, Sora.

[Man, this is crazy! She's that lady who came to the islands all those years ago. What was it...]

Your name's Aqua, isn't it?

That's right. [She smiles.] You've grown.

You really think so? Well, it's been a really long time!

[He laughs, placing both his hands behind his head.]

You should see Riku, though. He's the one that's really grown!

I'm surprised you remember me.

[She nods.]

I've seen several around. But you've grown too, others of you.

Yeah, but it's kinda hard to forget something like that! New people don't come to the islands very much.

[...She has a point.]

But then Riku gets even taller! Those older Rikus are like giants, maybe even bigger! It's no fair.

...You're good at these.

[Xeha stands by, his hands in his pockets, a wistful smile on his face.]

Thank you.

[She looks up at him, smiling.]

How are you, Xehanort?

[Hee.]

I'm pretty good, thanks! How've you been?

[ It's the first time Sora's been to this room, even if... it's not his first time seeing it. His eyes raise to the sky, then around, in wonder. As he goes further, he tugs on his straps, leisurely walking, his eyes back to the sky. ]

So this is the place Riku and I keep seeing! Looks cooler up close, I guess.

[ He turns, wanting to see if there's any name outside that'd tell him what world or place this is--and there's Aqua, so he freezes up. ]

[She glances over, noticing him. What is he...wearing?]

Do you like it?

[ The same straps they have crossing over their chests, just with a different symbol. He looks sheepish as he replies. ]

Yeah, I've just never seen it this light before.

[Oh. Oh, it's her. He walks on over. At least he recognizes her this time.]

[Just the boy she was looking for. She smiles as he comes up, still sitting.]

Hi, Ven. How are you, today?

Good...

[At least he can respond properly now.]
