[One of the outdoor rooms that houses a rather large lake is also housing one bored Kairi today. She's currently seated on a swing that hangs out over the water, feet occasionally swishing around when the fish get close enough to scare off. Of course, she probably wouldn't be doing that if she could see the occasional large shadow in the deeper parts of the lake. Who knows what's swimming around down there.]

I heard you're having a party?

Well I was. It wasn't going to be anything big, but Namine wanted to throw something together. I don't know if she'll want to have it anymore with me sick like this.

Well, that's no reason you can't still have some fun.

[Tries to smile. Why do I have to cheer you up, I'm so not good at it.]

Don't worry, I'm going to force him to come to mine.

Well, good. You can't be miserable on your birthday, of all days.

I honestly haven't enjoyed a birthday in a long time. But I'm going to try to this year.

[Both Roxae frown at that. And littlexas just wraps his arms around her middle. Man, he's short for a 12 year old.]

I already have a room. It's easier to stay out of the way there.

[Walks over to give her a hug too.]

[Hugs her closer at that. Littlexas pulls away to run off, returning a second later with tissues. Silly little derp.]
