[ You know, when Riku found this room, she thought it would be interesting to explore. A giant room with giant toys. Nutcrackers, mostly, with some other classic toys - dolls, ballerinas, wooden blocks, and porcelain clowns... She thought she'd hang around for a bit, maybe experience life as a doll. Then the giant music box caught her eye, and she just had to investigate. That's how she wound up in this mess.

Not that you could immediately tell it was her. See, the only visible part of her is from the waist down. The music box? Locked, with a keyhole. Apparently she tried to get inside... And now she's stuck. Perfect. ]

[She just freezes in surprise, not having expected that at all.]

You're welcome?

[beams a smile at her before wriggling into that shirt she picked out for him]

Now lets go see what was in that box!

[He's so enthusiastic and happy, why. She'll clean up what's left.]

Alright.

[Is it so strange to be around a generally happy Roxas?]

[For her? Sort of. But it's not the fact that he's happy so much as the way he's happy. It makes her think of Sora. Either way, once the mess is cleaned up, she's heading out the door.]

[the Sora from his world being his best friend might have had something to do with it.]

[If she knew that, she would think it made a lot of sense. Now, are they on their way?]

[Yep! He's all sorts of cheerful now that his arm is taken care of, and he has a lot of trust that if something happens, Riku will be able to handle it.]

[She probably will. But she couldn't imagine putting that much faith in someone she barely knew. Oh well. It's not going to take them long to get back to the room, so long as Riku can remember which door it was...]

[They were kinda fleeing in terror for a bit there, weren't they. When they're getting close, Roxas will start peeking into doors to see if there's any rooms with giant toys inside.]

[They kinda were. Riku sort of remembers which room it was when she was exploring originally, so it's not too hard to find. Third door she checks.]

--ah. Here.

...is the mouse guy gone?

I don't see him.

[The door was half open, too, which makes Riku think he followed them and didn't come back.]

Good, lets go then!

[ducks past you into the room, because what is self preservation.]

[Something that Roxas clearly lacks. She follows him inside, looking around a little warily, just in case.]

[he's already halfway inside, looking around to see if there's anything moving in the room this time]

[She really doesn't think it was the best idea to return to the room, but that's mostly because Roxas is around. She probably would have done it on her own. There doesn't seem to be anything moving, though, so Riku's heading toward the music box.]

[well, now she has that Roxas trotting up to her with a sheepish little grin. he's holding out her shoes, which he'd thrown at the mouse.]

Look what I found!

[She looks away from the box to see, pauses, then--]

Oh. Hey.

[Yep. She'd forgotten all about them.]

[he does like those snowman-decorated socks she has on, though.]

Find what you were looking for yet?

[Shhh, they're comfortable.]

Nah. I think whatever was in there is long gone.

[She couldn't have known that until after she put them on.]

Aw... I was gonna volunteer to climb through the keyhole and look, since I'm smaller than you and all.

[They were soft ~~and cute~~ okay?]

Just because you're smaller doesn't mean you'd fit. But I wouldn't try it anyway.

[He might get her a pair like them for Christmas. c:]

Oh, alright. Are you sure you don't know what it was you saw?

[She would laugh.]

I'm not... sure. It was glowing, whatever it was.
