[ You know, when Riku found this room, she thought it would be interesting to explore. A giant room with giant toys. Nutcrackers, mostly, with some other classic toys - dolls, ballerinas, wooden blocks, and porcelain clowns... She thought she'd hang around for a bit, maybe experience life as a doll. Then the giant music box caught her eye, and she just had to investigate. That's how she wound up in this mess.

Not that you could immediately tell it was her. See, the only visible part of her is from the waist down. The music box? Locked, with a keyhole. Apparently she tried to get inside... And now she's stuck. Perfect. ]

[She looks away from the box to see, pauses, then--]

Oh. Hey.

[Yep. She'd forgotten all about them.]

[he does like those snowman-decorated socks she has on, though.]

Find what you were looking for yet?

[Shhh, they're comfortable.]

Nah. I think whatever was in there is long gone.

[She couldn't have known that until after she put them on.]

Aw... I was gonna volunteer to climb through the keyhole and look, since I'm smaller than you and all.

[They were soft ~~and cute~~ okay?]

Just because you're smaller doesn't mean you'd fit. But I wouldn't try it anyway.

[He might get her a pair like them for Christmas. c:]

Oh, alright. Are you sure you don't know what it was you saw?

[She would laugh.]

I'm not... sure. It was glowing, whatever it was.

Like a firefly maybe?

Way too big to be a firefly. It was human-sized.

A glowing person?

[his eyes just got huge]

Something like that.

[Maybe.]

I know! We can just turn off the light in here! If they're glowing, we should be able to see them.

I don't know if that's the best idea.

Got any better ones?

[Opens her mouth, shuts it, looks to the door.]

Where's the switch?

Over there, I think.

[points to the door. luckily for her, he got over his glee of flipping light switches in the first few days he was here and found out what they did.]

[She wouldn't even know how to respond to that. Good thing indeed.]

Go hit it.

[She must not have been in any of the rooms he did it in. c: He'll go flip that one now, immediately looking back to see if anything is glowing.]

[Must not have. Riku turns and looks around the room slowly, looking for-- did he shut the door? If not, she'll be telling him to now.]

[Shuts it! Does she see anything?]

[Not so far-- wait. Yes. And he might notice, too, that there is a very faint, soft white glow coming from behind the row of nutcrackers. It's hard to see, but once Riku's eyes adjust, she can focus on it.]

[he isn't sure if he should leave the doorway, but he does see something]

Riku, is that...?

It's something.

[She's torn between telling him to stay by the door or getting him over with her so she knows where he is.]

[he doesn't really want to stay by the door in the dark when she's over there, especially because he wouldn't know what to do if something jumped out at him. so it's only another moment before Roxas is coming up beside her]

[Oh good, she doesn't have to make the decision for him. She looks at him, then turns back to the glow and starts heading that way, slowly.]
