[ A certain little Kairi has decided today is a good day to poll the dressing room. She's snatched a thick pad of paper and some red and green markers from the art room, which she's carrying around in bag thrown over her shoulder. Her cat - a lanky orange tabby - is following her around, and by the look (and sound) of things, Kairi has tied some silver bells to his collar. Maybe that's why he looks so cranky.

Now, they're patrolling the main room and surrounding areas, occasionally going up to someone and tugging on their (or perhaps your) sleeve, or shirt, or whatever happens to be in reach for a little girl. ]

[giggles.]

Ohhhh, okay.

A real man like me needs nothing but the best, after all.

[dips the shoulder she's on so she's sitting on his bicep, then flexes it a few times to make her bounce]

[aaaaa bouncing.]

Th-th-the be-e-e-est?

Nothing but the best! You wouldn't happen to know anyone like that, would you little girl?

Know anyone like what?

[holds on, a little afraid of being up this high.]

[He won't let her fall. Besides, she has four limbs for him to grab a hold of if she does.]

Say, for instance, the most beautiful girl in this strange town we're in. That would make her the best!

[good thing she has fair balance and experience in piggy-back rides!]

Ummm... I dunno! There's lots of pretty girls here. There's Namines, an' Kairis, annn'...

[ruffles her hair and bounces her back to his shoulder]

Don't suppose you've seen Belle around, have you?

[oof-]

Who's Belle?

Why, she's the most beautiful girl from my town. A little strange, but being married to one as great as me would have more than made up for that!

Ohhhh. That's okay! What's she look like, Mister... umm.

Gaston. She's got long, beautiful hair the shade of the deer on my wall, and hips just right for.. Well, they're very nice.

[blinks at him.]

Why d'you have deers on your wall, Mister Gaston?

[sets Kairi down and pulls his gun off his back, twirling it one-handed before taking up a shooting stance]

I shot them, of course! You're looking at the finest hunter you'll ever meet.

[she's seen guns before, but using them for that?]

You shot 'em?

[puts the gun away and stands with his hands on his hips, very proud of himself]

Yes indeed, little lady. There's nothing like coming home to all your trophies hanging on the wall, and a nice rug in front of the fire.

A deer's not a trophy!

[she's horrified.]

Of course it is! The more points to its antlers, the better it is. Why, I must have at least fifteen in my bedroom alone.

[he doesn't seem to notice.]

You have fifteen deers in your bedroom?

[wondering if he sleeps on them.]

Oh, not the whole deer. Just their heads! I put them up on the walls, you know. I use antlers in all of my decorating, after all.

[slaps her hands to her face with a horrified gasp.]

You cut off their heads?!

Well I'm not going to stuff the whole deer for mounting! That would be a sad waste of good steaks.

[her eyes just got huge.]

Steaks are deer?

Or cows. Depends on what you're shooting, really!
