[someone has fallen asleep amidst a pretty good amount of toy soldiers and dinosaurs, one of the soldiers still clutched in his hand. he's breathing through his mouth because his nose is stuffed up, and he has a plastic dinosaur under his cheek. this will make for an interesting imprint when he wakes up.

he doesn't seem to be having a very good dream.]

[he's fussing a little in his sleep, almost looking as though he were about to cry for a moment before calming again.]

[Frowns in worry and sits on the edge of the bed, gently petting his hair.]

It's alright. It's just a dream.

[She has no idea what he could be dreaming of, but if it's just a dream then it cant really hurt him, right?]

[it can't, but he's young enough to still confuse fantasy and reality. the hairpettings help him start to ease away from the bad dream, before he starts coughing hard enough to wake himself up.]

[he doesn't even wake up, so you must be getting good at this. he's even quieter for a little bit because a part of him knows you're familiar.]

[aw man. he's not really annoyed, of course, just worried for Riku. it's definitely time to head back to their rooms.]

[he has all the early signs of a cold, which shouldn't be too surprising with how many times he was used as a free pass through mistletoe lately]
