[There's something rather wrong with Even, he's looking rather washed out and... cheerful. As cheerful for him has hardly been a good thing in the past, suspicions maybe raised.
But in truth there's been a bit of a weight off his shoulders, the literal weight of the collar and chain is still there, but his heart is gone. If such a thing didn't remove his capacity to feel joy he'd be over the moon.
He really just thought he'd celebrate with that bucket of candy, that bucket of chicken wings and a box set of Firefly with the largest tv he could find. All he had to do was make his way back to that room.]

Probably not all of it, but it's easier have more on hand in case someone doesn't feel like getting there own.

There seems to be more than enough candy to go around lately. I still don't really understand the holiday for it.

It's one of the festivals taken and mutated beyond recognition by Christianity, most eventually get simplified to the celebration and you only really learn what it's about if you read on the history.

For the most part that my stomach shrank while I allowed this to happen.

I didn't want to be rude, after all it is yours. Erm, which do you think is best? I've never had these kinds of candy before. Usually we'd get just cookies, pastries, and fudge on special occassions.
