[Sora has been quite restless, quiet and fairly unsociable -- something just felt off about today. However, all of those little contractions he's been feeling for two weeks are beginning to culminate in much rougher ones, striking every several minutes. It's only when he stops to chat with stillunburned that he realizes he can't talk through them anymore, and has to take his leave to his bedroom, calmly gathering the towels he had set aside and doing a quick mental check of the supplies stashed in the corner for just this occasion. He knows birth is still hours away, but he knows better than to push it. It seems his nine month journey is coming to an end, a new one about to begin.]

[ooc: baby's official birth date is October 16th, but I won't be around much next Friday, so we're getting this party started early! feel free to come and see Sora and SOMEONE PLEASE COME TAKE RIKKA for a little while ♥ also, doctors are welcome.]

*know when he is ready indeed, because after a good three hours of waiting and intensifying sensations, active labor begins, the change in pressure, pain and breathing almost immediate. there is sweat beading on his forehead, and he's leaning back against the pillows, legs spread open and clutching whoever's hand that is*

*he is trying not to crush! but he's starting to get the urge to push, and it just... comes naturally when he bears down and pushes, taking a deep breath afterward, surprised at the lack of control he has over anything - his water has finally broken and there's a gush of fluid onto the towels, but he barely notices anything at all*

*nearly screams and pushes again, his whole spine aching sharply, easily forgetting about Ri -- there might be a bit of tearing going on down there Aeris, and so those towels might be soaking with blood -- Sora can't really form words right now, but there are tears in his eyes, though he continues to push, just wanting the baby to crown faster*
