[there's a nice little park-like room some ways from the main area. the door to it is open, and a pond is visible from it, just a short walk away. the room is full of flowers and trees, statues and the occasional bench and trash can. there's a pretty bridge going over the middle of the man-made pond, which is full of water-lillies and what appear to be goldfish as big as a foot or so in length. Kai's seated on the bridge, wings folded behind him as always, legs dangling over the edge as he tosses food down to the fish gathered beneath him. there's a bag of it sitting next to him, and some sort of food dispenser for fish and birds on the far side of the bridge. looks like he grabbed some bird feed as well, considering there's a small flock of sparrows hanging out on the bridge, including two perched on his head, and a couple more on his shoulders and the tops of his wings. the thing that might really catch one's attention, however, is the orange-red rabbit chewing on a meaty bone on the grass just off the side of the bridge.]

Here's hoping you get the whole thing back, and not just the wings, right?

[gives a satisfied sigh, not making a move to go anywhere while you're doing that]

Indeed. I should very much like to be my old self again, as being a human can at times be quite confusing.

[he can keep it up for a while, at least.]

Yeah, it can be. I hope you don't immediately go back to what you were doing before your wings got removed, though.

I believe I've learned to be more... discerning.

I'm glad. I'd hate to have to try and fight you, defending one of my friends.

If they're someone you've befriended, there's likely hope for them even if they are dark.

Well... you may not feel that way, if you run into them. You've probably met Ri, yeah?

The name sounds familiar.

Tall guy, looks like a Riku, pretty bad temper sometimes, usually has a pink ribbon in his hair... and he's all dark.

The pink ribbon sounds familiar, though he had light in him when I met him, I believe. He was... making tiny hats, if I'm not mistaken.

[snorts, grinning.]

Sounds like him. And I dunno why he did, possibly from 'bug or his Sora or something. He's all darkness, far as I know. Reacts really badly if my light flares.

I'll keep that in mind. Is there anyone else I should watch for?

Mm... just be careful with Rikus. A lot of them, like my own, have been through a lot involving darkness. Some of them are still in the process of it.

Are they all so adverse to Light?

They don't generally have as big a reaction as Ri would, though some of them might. Not a good idea to push things on them, either, since Rikus have a tendency to be stubborn.

[tinysmirk.]

They do, do they? Anything else you would like to mention about them?

[shrugs.]

They all have their problems, but they usually end up doing the right thing. My Riku, for example... a while back, her darkness suddenly spiked dramatically. Her room was completely pitch when I ran into her, and she was summoning Heartless to herself without consciously meaning to. But she spent a few days before I found her, trying to control them and keep them from heading out and attacking others, despite having all that darkness.

[frowns at that speculatively]

That sounds like an admirable effort on her part. At this point however, I'll admit to being more wary of those who look like a Roxas, due to my last encounter with one.

[nods, frowning.]

They're usually not too bad. Some of them are actually pretty friendly. They don't normally have any reason to attack... some are Nobodies, so they've got the whole... no heart thing going on.

[looks mildly irritated at that]

I do not like the 'no heart thing'. It makes it harder to tell what sort of person they are.

They can't exactly help it. The Roxae are usually Nobodies of Sora. They were created with no memories, since Sora spent so little time as a Heartless. Normally people don't get the chance to change back.

This world gives me such a headache at times.

You're not the only one, believe me.
