Leon comes back inside after a rather strenuous workout, his gunblade propped casually on his shoulder. It's hot out, for the tall soldier's sweaty and tired, but the exercise has helped get his mind cleared and his muscles sore. A good feeling, all in all.

He swings by the kitchen, retrieving a bottle of cold water from one of the fridges. Leaning against the counter, he chugs a few swallows then wipes his forehead with the back of his hand. A long hot shower sounds heavenly, as does a change of clothes and a nap.

[ooc: Have a Leon. He needs some interaction, so feel free. But he can be somewhat cranky at times, so play nice ~~for a while~~! :DD]

Duchess sighed and swished her tail slightly. She was a little lost and a lot hungry . . . Bothersome paws and bothersome refrigerators keeping all the food away from - a human! Well, how fortunate.

"Excuse me, monsieur, but would you be so kind as to get me something to eat?"

Leon eyed the white cat a bit at first, but then shrugged and reached into the cabinet and retrieved a small bowl. Rummaging in the fridge a bit, he pulled out a half-full container of milk and poured a generous amount before setting it in front of the feline.

"There," he said with a smile, capping the milk carton and returning it to the refrigerators.

_{{ Hopefully Leon doesn't mind his female counterpart (quite literally) also stopping by the fridge and browsing through the fridge-- she automatically assumes that Leon's been here a while, though she'll take a quick glance over to see what her male self would look like. Her jacket's swung to the side and she isn't wearing her typical outfit at the moment, but a white shirt and jean replacement will do, right? }}

O-kay. That qualified as the strangest thing he'd seen yet. Leon just blinked, water bottle paused halfway to his mouth to see a girl who just happened to look exactly like him.

Creepy much?

Still, he was nothing if not polite - well, to most folks, anyway - so he just nodded a silent greeting.

Well, not too social. Hn, that made sense, definitely.

Leon didn't say anything else, just refilled his water bottle from the corner cooler and set about drinking again; his workout had been rough, but worth it.

_{{ When she finishes drinking, she props open the fridge again to put the half-empty Aloe bottle back where she had found it. Oh, but she does have time to ask just one question-- }}

How long have you been here?

Leon shrugged. It was a gesture he was very well suited for.

"A bit. Not too long. You?"

Around a week, probably. Calenders are hard to come by in this place.

_{{ She stands upright and notices that he looks fairly sweaty, and raises a brow. }}

I'm assuming that you've been training.

"Been in the simulation room in the back, killing some stuff." He chuckled lightly. "Especially with the crowd around here."

Riku comes back to the kitchen to drop off his tray, pausing to look over at Leon. In his world, he's his subordinate--apparently, the same isn't so here. He sets the things in the sink, putting the tray back with some others.

"Looks like you could make do with a shower."

Hn, Riku. Interesting.

Leon flicked up an eyebrow, not knowing just exactly where this one had hailed from. Or what else to expect. Thank the king that the gunblade was close at hand - just in case he needed it.

"That obvious, huh?"

Leon? Not very often we see you around.

[Derp, and here's a KH1-aged Riku passing through to get a drink.]

He shrugged, capping his water bottle. "Just passing through."

Another Riku, this one as young as Sora had been. Curious.

[Fifteen, actually, so the same age as any normal Riku would be at the time, but he shrugs as well, since that's pretty much what he expected.]

Not surprised. Looks like you've been pretty busy.

"Been out back, killing imaginary Heartless." He shrugged one shoulder again. "Helps to pass the time."

The simulation room, huh. Place sure gets a lot of use these days.

[Hm, well he might as well get a glass. As such, Riku moves towards one of the cupboards]

"So it should," Leon agreed. "Always gotta stay ready, y'know."

He moved aside to let Riku reach the cabinet and drained the rest of his bottle, refilling it from the cooler in the corner.

Definitely. There's more than enough real heartless around, and a few Ansems. Never know when they'll start something.

[Once he has his glass, he makes his way to the sink, running some tap water into it, then moving towards the fridge for soem ice]

"Exactly. I'm not sure what this place is, but it's never boring, I gotta say that."

Crossroads, apparently, but I'll give you that. Some of the rooms don't even make sense.

"Yeah, that's what I kinda figured, too."

He snorted and took another swallow of icy cold water. "I stick to whatever empty one I can find. And sleep with a chair propped under the door."

Heh, smart move. With so many Keybearers in here locking wouldn't really help.

[Satisfied with the ice, he moves to lean against the fridge, drinking some of his water]

"Mm, and sleep with my gunblade. I'm not taking any chances while I'm stuck here, thanks."

Leon shook his head. "Gods, this place. I still haven't figured it out. ...and I'm not entirely sure if I want to."

I was here for more than a year before I left-- came back just a few months later. After all that I still don't get half of what goes on here. It's probably not worth trying to find out.

"I'll pass on that, actually. I'm just heading from one hallway to another, hopefully to slick on out as soon as possible."
