[this training room is currently occupied. Kai's in there practicing, though he seems to be breathing heavily. his movements are clumsy, from more than just pain (and he does appear to be in enough pain that he probably shouldn't be training) or breathlessness; it might have something to do with the fact that his left eye is covered with bandages. after a moment he falls to his knees, gripping the handle of his keyblade and using it to keep himself at least somewhat upright while trying to catch his breath.]

[goes over to, wraps arms around in a hug]

You'll adapt. Knowing your luck lately, it'll be the day before you magically get your eye back, but whatever. I'm right here to help you.

[settles into the hug with a sigh.]

[nuzzles his shoulder, then turns Kai around so they're facing each other]

Come on, that's enough training for today. I can tell you're worn out from it. Let's go get lunch or something.

[brushes some hair out of Kai's face and leans down to plant a gentle kiss on the bandages over the empty eyesocket]

[cringes a little at the kiss. he can't help it, unfortunately. but he is hungry, so.]

...okay.

[loves you even if you have a big hole in your face <3]

I'll even prepare it, if you want. Depending on what it is, you might need to help me a little, though. Wouldn't want me to set the kitchen on fire, after all.

[takes Kai's hand and starts leading him toward the door]

I'd rather you didn't.

[lets himself be led, focusing on trying to get used to his sight.]

Me too. But you never know.

[lead lead lead~ oh look, a kitchen. nudges Kai toward a chair at the table and then goes to get things out of the fridge.]

So how's it feeling? Does it still hurt at all?

[sits and stretches.]

A little, but mostly it's itchy.

[glances back over at him with a sympathetic look]

Yeah, I know the feeling. A potion might help with that. Y'want turkey or ham?

I should just keep the bandages soaked in potion.

[hmmmm that's a tough question.]

Ham sounds good.

Yeah, probably. But that would involve sticking close to me or our room or a bathroom, to keep soaking them. And I'm guessing that wouldn't sit too well with you. [eyes him over a shoulder, while laying out sammich stuff] I know you don't like hanging around doing nothing, so...

Yeah, well... with the trouble I get into, one day I'll probably have no choice but to lock myself somewhere.

[sigh.]

[brings a sammich over and sets it in front of Kai, leaning down to smooth hair back from his face and kiss his forehead.]

Just make sure I've got the spare key, or some other way to get in.

[closes his eye at the kiss, smiling softly.]

[returns to the counter to prepare his own sammich]

Good, I'd hate to have to summon the energy to kick a locked door in.

Right, because that'd be so hard for you.

[snickers a bit, taking a bite out of his sandwich.]

Hey, I'd like to see you kick a door in. It takes preparation, if you're not used to doing it, just like any other physical activity.

[glances over his shoulder to waggle his eyebrows at Kai ;D ]

[chokes on his sandwich a little, thanks.]

Then you should know how to do it just fine, huh.

[returns to the table with his own sandwich, grinning]

I beg to differ. Going with that logic, you should be better at it than I am.

You've technically had more practice than me. I've just got memories of it.
