[this training room is currently occupied. Kai's in there practicing, though he seems to be breathing heavily. his movements are clumsy, from more than just pain (and he does appear to be in enough pain that he probably shouldn't be training) or breathlessness; it might have something to do with the fact that his left eye is covered with bandages. after a moment he falls to his knees, gripping the handle of his keyblade and using it to keep himself at least somewhat upright while trying to catch his breath.]

[Riku was just passing by, but the sight of Kai of all people having trouble can't be a good thing. He approaches a bit cautiously, but looking worried none the less.]

[stiffens briefly, silently cursing himself for not locking the door, then forces himself to relax somewhat. when he talks, it's not much more than a hoarse whisper.]

[Occupied, huh? Well, normally Riku would just keep moving, but hey, it's actually someone she knows.]

[ohhhh shit, this isn't going to be good. his grip tightens on the keyblade's hilt minutely, but he doesn't move otherwise, waiting until he's caught his breath to speak.]

[shakes his head, attempting a faint smile in Roxas' direction.]

Nothing. Where've you been? Haven't seen you in ages.

[Way to make her feel unsettled already. She's going to take the silent route, stepping inside and heading toward him.]

[slowly dismisses the keyblade and settles back on his heels, closing his eyes with a soft sigh.]

[aw crap. flinches slightly when he hears Ri, kind of wishing he had the ability to portal so he could go back to his room even though Ri would be able to find him there too. but instead he forces himself to straighten somewhat, though he doesn't turn to look at him.]
