[He flicks that tongue at you... It was rare for people not to be familiar with Nagas..with the bad reputation they tend to have. ]

*looks a bit startled by the hissing, taking a cautious step back; nope no one ever gave it the regular introduction speech*

[Or he was special to him... He tries nudging Sora towards you..but not to close because he doesn't want his child to catch on fire, but he doesn't seem to budge. He is terrified of you it seems. ]

*does not know how to deal with snakes or other children very well, but it knows about cats, so it tries holding out its hand to Sora, to show it won't hurt*

[You are confusing the simple-minded Naga. And Sora shrunk away, but eventually sort of slithered closer, flicking his tongue at you, just smelling you. He then sort of pokes your hand lightly with his almost blunt claw. Saix freaked out. ]

Sssora! Don't do that! You'll hurt yoursssself! [Of course he is still assuming fire hurts... ]

*is a bit startled by your yelling and pulls away, but not before some of the flame transfers to little Sora; it also changed color to orange with green spots*

[Saix grabs Sora, with a look of panic, but Sora just sort of giggled and hissed... Saix was absolutely confused. and of course, when Sora was happy, Luna wouldn't tolerate not also sharing some happy, so she starts poking at you too... ]

...I'm..sssorry, I didn't mean to yell. But the flamesss are not hurting them.

*well Luna's flames go all pinkish-silver so maybe that will make her happy*

Oh no. It doesn't hurt. It feels kinda nice. I've been on fire before and that hurt alot so this is something magical, I think.

The children seemed very content rolling around on the floor, swinging those tails around which the tips were now on fire. Saix sighed with calm smile. ]

*shakes its sleeve to dislodge Luna from chewing it and gives her head, and Sora's, a pat*

Many Nagass have a very bad reputation.. I have been trying to change my waysss for my offssspring. I want them to be accepting and nice to humansss...rather then eat them.

[Though it was going to be harder to train Luna not to chew on people than Sora. Sora was almost a vegetarian entirely...his poor confused little baby boy. ]

Most Nagas dissslike humansss. In my world..and in mossst of theirss, humansss hunt usss. Sssurvival of the fittessst. But here, I realied..or rather, Sssora helped me realize that I do not have to try to sssurvive by eating humanss first. I no longer kill humansss.

[As he spoke, little Sora and Luna seem to be fighting..or rather, Luna was picking on Sora, spreading flames on their bodies. Saix just sighed and tried breaking them up with his tail. ]

[In relation to a common human of course. But with the other odd creatures and humanoids..maybe not so much? You might notice Luna is pretty strong, she just picked up poor Sora and tried to throw him, but Saix was quick to intervene once more. Grabbing Sora out of her arms..and great, now he is flaming. ]
