[Someone's in the kitchen, trying to get the hand of this cooking business. Not something royalty is used to, but she figures she should learn.

Although, the smell of smoke is still a bit strong and there are several failed attempts in the trash. Not to mention a mess along the counter and sink.

But whatever is in the pan actually looks good.]

[It's actually ready, so she turns the stove fire off and grabs two plates, handing one to him.]

[Looks up from the cookbook she's been referring to. Nods, now a bit embarrassed]

Mhm, well trying to at least.

[She's been in the kitchen for a while now so the smell doesn't bother her anymore.]

Good news for you, I didn't attempt to make that.

[The pan begins to sizzle and she immediately grabs a spoon, stirring the food, worrying she might burn it again.]

I'm sure it would have turned out fine. There aren't a lot of ways you can mess up coffee.

[Chuckles, recalling memories of striking fear into the nonexistent hearts of cooks at her castle whenever she'd touch something in the kitchen.]

You'd be surprised.

[Looks at the pan as well, before reading from the book.]

Uhm...It's called..."chili chicken."

[Shrugs, the smell of jalapenos and other spicy peppers may be smelled.]

It was the easiest recipe in the book.

[Grins and turns off the stove fire, since the food is done at this point, according to the recipe. She sets the book down and grabs a plate, scooping some of the mixture of pasta and spiced chicken onto the plate, handing it to him.]
