What inspires in us this madness

[With a little help, he'd managed to find his way back to his own room. Which was surprisingly, but thankfully, empty. Roxas was both pleased and concerned; truth be told he didn't want to run into Axel in this state, but he also didn't know if Axel was okay. After all, if he was in Saïx's body, that meant Saïx was in his body. Who knows what happened when they woke up in the same room together... The lack of blood stains was promising though.]

[Roxas was just laying on his bed, head cradled in his arms. That voice had stopped for now. He couldn't fall asleep though, that just seemed to make it worse. He just wanted all the damn noise to stop...]

[That noise makes Roxas jump a little. That... doesn't sound good. He was rather surprised that Saïx hadn't killed anyone in his body.]

I didn't even put a single scratch on him Saïx, he's fine. Are you okay...?

S-Sorry... I t-t-tried my best to keep it away from y-your heart, but...

[Pfft, way to be Saïx. People are now going to be terrified of Roxas. He's actually getting kind of worried about Saïx - but he doesn't know if going near him would help.]

[Roxas would probably trip over him trying to find him, which he knows wouldn't be helpful, so he's going to stay put for now.]

[He doesn't like the sound of that. Nor does he like the idea of Saïx becoming a true demon - because that would mean he would become worse than he already was. And who knows what that would do to his own body...]

Is there some way to make it stop? I need that heart, and you don't need to become any more of a demon than you already are...

[Hearing Saïx actually sound scared, followed by those sobs... It was surreal. He couldn't help but feel bad for him. Roxas slid off the bed, crawling a little closer to the other side of the wall where Saïx was sitting.]

... You're not going to become a demon. That's not who you are. Remember when you were nice to me for a while...? That's who I'd like to believe you are....

[He doesn't know if that will make him feel any better, but... He can't come up with any kind of solution...]

[So much for that. What little he did feel bad for the other just turned into irritation, shifting to lean back against the foot of the bed.]

[At least it seemed to have worked a little. Saïx sounded like he was in less pain.]

[Roxas blinks when he hears someone else coming, eyes fixing on the sound. He couldn't tell who it was until the other spoke, and even then, he couldn't really tell which Axel it was. Either way, he didn't think that Axel showing up as a good thing. Roxas pushed himself to his feet.]

... Saïx?

Juliet? R-roxas?

[just keeps staring, very very confused]

J-Juliet.

Brat.

N-Now that we're all f-familiar...

[Roxas relaxes a little bit when Saïx says that it's Romeo. He figures Saïx will be a little less inclined to attack him than Axel... He frowns at being called brat again. Axel's tone of voice doesn't sound good though.]

I'm not a brat...

[he goes toward Roxas' body, the one that held his demonic companion]

Shit, are you okay?

[the appearance unnerves him, but he's not scared, more worried than anything. glancing over at the boy inhabiting that body - his body - he asks softly]
