[he's seated in a large beanbag chair with Molly on his lap, petting him and looking faintly annoyed with the world at large. after a moment he pauses as if listening to something, then leans down and hugs the kitten.]

I know it's uncomfortable, Kai, but I don't know how to fix this.

At least you're enjoying this more than I enjoyed being a rabbit.

[there's a questioning mewl, which Molly translates.]

He wants to know when you were a rabbit.

[glances between them.]

I think that was the first spell. Half the people here turned into animals.
