it's only a flesh wound!
{ Aeris has waited all too long to find a room that isn't filled with people that she can heal her injuries in, so she collapses inside of a room next to the simulation room she frequents. She drops two Claymores and collapse to a sit as soon as she enters through the door, shouting for a few seconds before grimacing. A horizontal scar in the middle of her face is bleeding heavily, though the Claymore and several shards in her abdomen are holding in most of the bleeding around that area. Her arms are pained from being punctured by nails, but she searches through her bag with shaky hands to try and get this over with as quickly as possible. }
{ooc: Saix gave Aeris some boo-boos. I kind of suck at being serious and I posted too much on kingdomdressing this week, thus I apologize for my epic fails. This will probably be my last post in a while since finals week is coming up, though +_+;}

[watching absently from nearby. when did she get there? who knows. and she is of course referring to Aeris' older self.]

What are you talking about? I never get injured in this place. { Well, this is her one exception. Not that she knows how she dies, anyway. }

[doesn't elaborate, eying the claymore thoughtfully.]
Ran into a Saix, did you?

He's one heck of a fighter.

-uses same icon over and over again until she fixes herself up-
Pfft I use the same one ALL THE TIME for this girl. XD
Draw moar icons? 8D I'd just say pillage some but Vexen looks too male-like.
I'd love to, except that my tablet barely works right now. I can hardly even use it for colouring.
[tsks.]
D8 Oh no! Do you have a scanner though?
{ She pulls out the last shard. She catches a breather as she grasps the handle of the Claymore and examines it before she'll pull it out. }
*sigh* I wish. I haven't had one for years.
D: Well... there's always MS Paint and using a mouse? Or a camera + Photoshop.
{ Aeris grasps the handle very tightly until she finally pulls it out of her abdomen, though she nearly hauls over from the sharp pain she received. She starts recollecting... }
I've got photoshop, but I'm horrible at using a mouse.
[obviously doesn't sound like she believes that.]
8x zoom pixel art? :D...
I suck at pixel art. ._.
[just watches dispassionately.]
It never hurts to try? c:
Maybe. And from what I've heard, what he did was rather unforgiving...
I've tried. I suck at it. :/
[she's heard whispers as well, caught little tidbits of information; she's rather good at that. oh and by the way, she just so happens to have a megapotion on her, as she tends to have at all times.]
You can always try again. o: Or the camera method as mentioned since you have Photoshop.
Tried the camera method before, don't like it either. :/ Doesn't work for me.
[a small icicle builds up beside Aeris, the tip becoming bulbous before the megapotion she keeps on her person is eventually pushed out the top.]
If you wish to go without scarring. You will owe me, however.
Well... another way is to fix your tablet. How's it being dysfunctional?
{ Oblivious to getting dropped into the ocean, oi. }
Explanation's too long for this thing. XD
That is not what I said.
(ooc: First off, the pressure and sensitivity is completely dead. Doesn't matter how hard or light I press, I always get the same kind of lines. Second, it likes to jolt; I'll be making a line and it'll suddenly send the cursor across the screen. Third, it doesn't always register when I pull the stylus away, so as I move to click on something else, it'll keep the line going so I get this big line right through the image or something. It also makes it so when I try clicking on things, it's like I'm just holding it down instead of clicking, even when I move the stylus several inches away.)
8D
{ooc: That actually sounds like a major issue with tablet sensitivity or something faulty with the sensors in your tablet pen. Try updating your tablet driver if you haven't recently; if that doesn't work thwack your tablet with the palm of your hand while holding it like a wand. If that doesn't work, there might be too much dust inside of your pen so you'll have to find a way to remove it. Another alternative is replacing your nib since it might be worn from extensive use.}

[doesn't smirk, as much as she may want to.]
(ooc: Tablet's as updated as it can get, and nothing I've done has helped, with the pen or otherwise. A friend is sending me her old tablet, which is actually older than mine but still working fine, but that's not going to be happening for a while yet.)
no subject
{ooc: Ah... yeah, tablets are haywire most of the time. Might I ask what type of tablet you're using? }
no subject
Nothing to concern yourself with.
(ooc: A uh... wacom. Don't know much more than that, I'm afraid. Been a while since I bought it.)
no subject
{ooc: Wacom! Wacom tablets are the only tablets I've heard that's had major problems with insane glitches concerning tablet sensitivity. Apparently calling Wacom does nothing, since they just recommend buying a new pen. }

(ooc: Ugh, great. Like I said, got it years ago, back when I knew nothing about tablets other than that it was like a pen on the computer. XD)
I gtg for tonight, see you!
{ ooc: How long ago was it since you bought it? Mine's a Wacom and it's nearly seven years old and it's starting to turn into a crazy retardo schizophrenic tablet. }
Night!
By fade, I mean they have simply spent too much time out on their own away from their master, and return to wherever it is they're kept.
(ooc: Uhhhh five years, at least. Possibly six or seven.)

When their master is permanently destroyed, they will be, too.
