Back to Square One
[After being nearly tortured mentally by an Axel and, just recently, physically attacked by a apprently still bitter Saix, this Namine has decided that she may want to take a break from the social scene here lest she get hurt again. She now has reverted to sitting and drawing in her little corner again, avoiding the world.]
[She sighs and rubs her neck, which is still sore from Saix grabbing it and choking her.]
Back to this, huh...
[She sighs and rubs her neck, which is still sore from Saix grabbing it and choking her.]
Back to this, huh...

I've notice many creatures here tend to thrive on negative energy and actions.
[Small frown, but then looks pensive on the matter. ]
Even with me, so many expect the worse. At first I did not understand why until I had the honor of meeting myself. I never understood why so many people are so angry. Smniling is so much more fun, yes?
[And now he smiles. ]
no subject
Well...I for one am greatful for your demeanor. Especially after that Saix. [shudders a bit]
[She then looks up and notices his smile. She help but feel that it was infectious. ]

[Which was surprising considering how long he has been around. And this was not the first Namine he has spoken to who has been attacked by one... ]
Should I ever encounter this Mythical Saix beast, I will certainly give him a good talking to. It is not at all fair what they seem to do...Always preying on such sweet little girls.
no subject
I'm not sure if a talking-to will have an effect on him, but you're more than welcome to try.
['Little girl'... Wasn't that what Saix called her? A little girl who couldn't defend herself...]
[snorts.] I'm not that sweet. [looks down]
no subject
[And isn't Marluxia one to talk? ]
Oh, and before we go to much further, I must apologize for my rudeness.
[He bows formally, a rose with forever changing shades of red and blue forms in his hand and he hands it to her. ]
My name is Marluxia. It is a pleasure to meet you.
no subject
Thank...you [stares a bit more and a small smile comes across her lips]
[Looks up with a genuinely 'sweet' face]
I'm Namine. [smiles] The pleasure is all mine.

With a Face so Sweet and Kind
I'm Glad to Meet You.
[He simply smiles right back...he did see the bruises. He had seen them on many. ]
no subject
You might just be the the nicest person I've encountered here. What universe are you from?
[Now her neck isn't as sore as it was before and nothing hurts badly anymore.]
no subject
[He smiled. ]

[smiling softly] It's somewhat ironic. Gods were never intended to be cruel or vengeful, but yet that's what their image is.
I guess you're a true God in that sense.
no subject
[He seemed to be tickled pink by her compliment. ]
You compliment me too much! Far too much! I am so thankful for it! But even in my own world, I was hardly considered one. They wouldn't give me a world to rule of my own because I was not agressive enough... But i can not be cruel for no reason. I simply can not!
[He is still laughing a bit...was that a tear in his eye from laughter? Yes. Because he likes to laugh. ]
My family was somewhat..eh...The runt of the God World. No one respected us.
no subject
[A bit surprised by his outright laughter.]
Back home, some people used to teach about a God that loved people....A lot of people believed them and attended their services and everything. They looked like they had perfect lives.
I'm not saying one God is better than the other, but maybe your world could have been better off, if they had given you one.
[frowns slightly] How come no one respected you guys?
no subject
[He lifts his hand, slowly a vine snakes from his wrist and began wrapping around his arm repeteadly. ]
They underestimate the power of Nature. But, we never saw the purpose in exploiting our power to prove to the other Gods that we can be just as destructive and deadly. My parents could never do it...I could never do it.
no subject
[Looks up at him] I don't blame you for not doing it. Destroying things and people isn't proving strength in any way at all. Only the weak and scared do that. [For a second, a bitter expression seemed to flash across her face for a split second.]
[Fiddles with the sketchbook still in her arms. Wonders what to draw.]
Any control though...over anything...seems powerful enough.
no subject
He is thanking you for your compliments as well... The vines, the plants, they all can hear us. They have feelings, just like we do... I do not control or order. I merely ask and request, treating them with as much respect as they treat me.
no subject
It sounds like you have a mutual relationship with them...That's nice. It makes for the perfect partnership.
[Has a lightbulb moment] So that's why people say plants will grow more if you talk to them...is it?
no subject
[What a smart kind spirit this Namine... But he has yet to run into a Namine that was anything but sweet and intelligent. ]
But that is enough about me... Please, tell me about yourself. What makes you unique?
[He smiles. ]
no subject
[Heh.]
Unique?...Trust me, there is not one thing special about be. [chuckles, as it that was a lighthearted joke]
I'm like most other Namines; I sit, I draw, I can be ignored easily, and am seemed to be hated still by the Organization.
[She smirks and begins to sketch again.]
no subject
[Oddly enough, you are the first Namine he has met who draws... ]
I would be ever so honored to see some of your masterpieces! Oh please oh please!
[He's jumping up and down, clapping his hands together. ]
no subject
I do, but I wouldn't necessarily call them masterpieces.
[Can't help but smile and laugh at his enthusiasm.]
You're more than welcome to look, but please, don't expect anything too special. [Chuckles] I'm only average.
[With that, she hands you the sketchbook, now closed.]
no subject
I wish I could draw this well... I am still at a stick-figure level...
[He laughed a bit. ]
no subject
I think you're complimenting me a bit much. [giggles]
You get better at it after a while. Drawing is pretty much the only thing I ever did back home so now I'm at least decent at it.
no subject
[He smiled, handing it back to her. ]
no subject
Thank you.
[She has a small smile as she reaches out to take her artbook back. Yet as her arm extends, she softly cries out in pain. The sudden added weight of the book seems to have strained her arm, which was already hurt. As a result, she accidentaly drops the book and retracts her arm, wincing from the slight pain.]
no subject
Ah-! I am sorry, that was so stupid. I have forgotten! Are you all right?
[Of course she wasn't... That was a stupid question. ]
