[there's a large bam as this grown man bursts out of the ballroom and slams the doors roughly behind him. he stands with his back to the doors, gasping for air.]

There's a .. there's a dinosaur in there.

[pauses, still leaning heavily against the doors -- as if doing so would actually stop a dinosaur from barreling through. he certainly doesn't look as alarmed as he probably should.]

... That is so cool!

Ugh, yes. I was in a place sort of like this before, and the entire place turned into a jungle filled with dinosaurs.

[makes a face.]

I spent most of my time in trees until a pair caught me by surprise.

There was basically every kind imagineable in the jungle, and I didn't exactly get a good look at the ones that caught me, seeing as they came at me from behind.

[still hasn't mentioned the bleeding to death from fatal wounds caused by dinosaur claws yet.]

...I didn't.

[there's a brief, pained look before he's back to a faint smile.]

[frowns, eyes lowered to the floor.]

I'm sorry. Dying's never easy.

No, it's not. And I imagine it would take quite a few deaths before I got as used to it as some people I knew there.

[shakes his head.]

Luckily I've only died the once here. Two deaths is better than how many times I could've.

[rubs the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.]

I don't get into trouble on purpose. And then when something happens- even if it's something small!- they all start worrying over me like I'm going to break or something.

[Sora found the breaking notion pretty funny, and he reaches over to prod Kai on the shoulder.]

... You seem pretty durable to me!

I'd hope so. I swear my Sora and Riku don't think I can take care of myself sometimes.

...admittedly, I'm not as good as fighting as they are, but I'm getting better.

I guess they're just used to me being the rather helpless Prince.

[blinks, then practically beams at him.]

Let's spar then; I want to see what you can do.

[sdjfh spar against a Sora? it's one thing sparring against that Riku he made friends with, but this is a Sora and sdfjkskdf.]

[slides into a ready stance, face set with determination.]
