[Much like the others hit with the spell, this Riku isn't happy. Okay, maybe that's an understatement--he's pretty angry. He's not so concerned about the inability to form portals or even produce the smallest spark of Fira magic, but he can't call his weapon either--that's what bothers him the most. All things he's pretty sure are results of the symbol burned into his shoulder.

Riku's been hanging out in an empty hallway, debating whether or not he wants to find anyone else and see if they're affected. But it seems like a bad idea for some reason.

(ooc: Pretend this is happening in the afternoon instead of the evening.)]

[He'd probably get a strange look if he said it like that. Riku runs a hand through his hair, considering this information.]

This just keeps getting weirder...

What do you think it means?

[He's cautiously neutral about this. Riku isn't his master outside of the spell after all, and has surprised him a few times already. Of course he can draw his own conclusions, but he isn't feeling as up to performing as he usually would be.]

[He's established multiple times that he doesn't really want to be anyone's master, period. Clearly the DR doesn't agree.]

That I did what I needed to, if it made you feel better. I couldn't really help it...

[He's a little pink and staring at the edge of the couch cushion like it's going to help him.]

[Perhaps that's the very reason why he keeps finding himself in these situations. He isn't blushing at all, but he does pick up on Riku's awkwardness.]

Did it... affect you too?

[DR's version of karma, maybe. He nods, shifting a little, but keeping a bit of a distance between them.]

Mhm.

[He's very aware of that distance, but even if he were inclined, he isn't going to do anything about it. He won't be the first to, at least. In fact, he's still laying curled on the couch. The shifting catches his attention, but he isn't struck by awkwardness as Riku seems to be.]

If you wanted to... I won't fight you.

[At those words, he brightens, just a little despite the awkwardness. He knows he could make Riku do anything, force him to do what he wanted, like he had earlier. But he likes to think he has more self-control than that.]

I'm not doing anything to you that you don't want.

[For the most part, he doesn't want to find out if Riku would order him into a situation if he thought it would benefit them both, regardless of how he felt about it. He also doesn't want to find out if there's a punishment for avoiding your partner. He has nothing in the way of personal boundaries regarding sex any longer, so that kiss could have been much more, or leading up to more. He'd still react the same afterward. Negative reinforcement however, is the swiftest way to bring him to heel.]

I want to do what the spell wants if it means there is no pain.

[This includes striving to win if they are forced to fight again.]

[The punishment for avoiding your partner is that said partner gets bored and goes to find something to do in one of the hallways, with an order to not leave the room/apartment until he gets back. Also this Riku will figure out how the other Riku works eventually. Probably. Right now, he's moved back to being right next to the couch again.]

Good idea.

[He's going to test Riku's earlier statement by leaning over to give him a proper kiss, on the lips, without pulling back this time.]

[He doesn't pull away, but he doesn't lean into it, either. Not at first, anyway. He closes his eyes, his mouth automatically opening to allow Riku further access. Even such a small kiss has him relaxing on the couch, feeling more of his headache recede.]

[That's good. He does take advantage of that pretty quickly, sliding his tongue in to meet Riku's. Though he's being careful, since at the same time, he's moving to be more on the couch than the floor and trying not to sit on Riku.]

[He slowly rolls back on the couch as Riku moves, his arms coming up to rest his hands lightly at Riku's hip and side. All the stress he's been feeling is slowly melting away, and his response to the kiss is tentative, allowing Riku to dominate him.]

[Being dominant is something he has little issue with right now, fortunately. Though he's not pushing that very far, playing his tongue along the inside of Riku's lower lip, then briefly sucking on that lip before pulling away altogether. Or at least away from liplock for a minute.]

[He leans up toward Riku as he starts to pull away, and sighs as the kiss breaks. Already he feels more compliant, more full of something he can't quite put his finger on. It's almost as if he's inhaled the fumes of an ether, or taken a few small sips to nurse it.]

[He breathes out what might be considered a laugh, a quiet one, in response to that sigh. It's nice to know that he's apparently made of ethers now, and that probably would've been useful knowledge earlier. Oh well, he's leaning back down to reestablish the kiss, since that's what Riku seems to want.]

[The kiss is more welcome this time now that he's experienced the effects. He doesn't make a sound, letting his body language do the talking as he gently guides Riku onto the couch over him, his legs spreading slightly to give him more room. He isn't turned on, but he does crave the closeness and the affection.]

[He lets himself be guided, settling between Riku's legs and resting one of his arms against the arm of the couch. The other hand ends up in tangled in Riku's hair. He licks across Riku's lip again, this time requesting access to his mouth.]

[He responds immediately, lips parting to meet Riku's tongue with his own. He doesn't hurry, wanting to draw out the strangely good feeling this is giving him. Riku's coming closer allows him to bring his arm further around his waist, the other staying at Riku's side.]

[He doesn't mind going slowly; it's not like he he has anything he has to do right away. He feels Riku's arm move, and lowers his body in response, bringing them closer together.]

[He's moving with less obvious tenderness now, and his heart is beating a slow and steady rhythm against Riku's chest. He's still no more aroused than he was before, but if Riku were to be more aggressive it'd be an automatic response. He's far more content to accept the simple kisses, with each one helping to ease the pain he'd been feeling. His hands remain where they are, and he doesn't do more than sigh his pleasure into the kiss.]

[He likes that heartbeat. That alone makes him not particularly want to move for a while, and he doesn't really, except to break the kiss once again. Sorry, Riku.]

Do you...want to go further than this?

[If not, that's okay with him. He'll probably stay there regardless.]

[Riku will be able to feel that heartbeat speed up at the question, though he doesn't meet his eyes. With just a few words the tenseness is back, though after a moment of hesitation his voice is steady.]

I can if you want me to.

I asked what you want, not what I want.

[He kisses along Riku's jaw until he reaches his ear, which he lightly worries with his teeth.]

C'mon, tell me truthfully.

[He can feel the quickened heartbeat, and moves his hand over Riku's chest. He still feels bad for what happened when they first met, and doesn't want to feel the same way after this spell is over.]

[Using the spell against him like that is so very unfair. He struggles against it a bit, turning his face away from Riku. His heart is pounding harder with his internal struggle, and there's a faint trace of fear he's working to keep from showing. Even after all this time, he isn't used to his own wants being taken into consideration.]

.....No.

[He doesn't play fair sometimes, and this is one of those times. He stops what he's doing, pulling away and pushing himself up a little. There's a look of slight disappointment on his face, but it goes away pretty quickly.]

That's fine. Want me to leave?

[Riku gets a choice on how to answer that, if he wants to at all.]
