[here, with his swords in hand and a slightly bored expression]

Does anyone want to spar?

[there was only so much training he could do by himself before the ennui of this place got to him again. Between the choices of "looking for a way out" and "getting someone else to help him with this problem," he'd pick the one that would actually yield results - however temporary they might be.]

Fine by me. I won't even call them back if you manage to get one away from me. S'only fair.

[she puts a hand to her chest, as if declaring that a true promise.]

[nods]

Fair enough.

[gestures with a sword to a door nearby]

I found a large, empty room through there. [lowers his blade] Ladies first.

[nods her head graciously before going in, twirling one blade in her grasp.]

Thank you.

[no "you're welcome" to that or even acknowledgment; he just follows. He takes a spot a reasonable distance away from his opponent, swords in a seemingly relaxed grip]

Ready?

[she gives a firm nod, legs braced in a ready position.]

[and he runs towards her, going for a simple attack routine - both blades slashing across simultaneously, followed by a feint with the left while he attempts to land a blow with the right]

[she braces both blades to shove off both blades when they go across in unison, backing off suddenly to get out of his range.]

[Roxas is nothing but persistent. He doesn't let the distance between them increase for long, easily transferring the momentum from the thwarted attack into a spin, lashing out with one blade first then the other]

[she grins, clashing Oathkeeper with his first blade and her own Keyblade with the other, in an attempt to stop and shove away his blades.]

[there's a reluctant-and-yet-not grin on his face as well. Is this actually becoming fun? It's certainly bringing back a lot of home-related memories - a place where he actually had a purpose instead of here. He lets his blades get shoved away...but only in directions advantageous to him. As soon as his swords are clear of hers, he brings them over in dual arcs towards her sides, slashing up and back down in a crisscross motion]

[there's a nick on the fabric of her shirt before she bends back, spine arching so she's flipping over herself, clearing a way and skidding back on her feet. this time, she takes the plunge and goes straight for him, blades spinning in front of her.]

[impressive, but he's used to seeing - and performing - acrobatics like that in his line of work. Roxas meets her assault head-on, metal clashing with metal, trying to use speed rather than strength to somehow knock one of her blades away. Or create an opening. Whichever came first.]

[narrows her eyes a little, trying to get enough strength to shove him back--maybe get an opening as she slides her feet a little forwards.]

[not liking bouts on strength alone, Roxas backs off, swiftly sliding his blades out from underneath hers and going for another - but less direct - attack]
