[Vexen's stopped his wandering, having gotten himself lost more than once, and settled himself in the library. there's a few science texts scattered over the table he's commandeered and he's got a blank notebook open in front of him on the table, tapping a pen against his lips as he leans back in his chair. the chair's tipping backwards, the front legs raising off the floor as he flips through the book resting on his lap with one hand]

[someone who hasn't realized he's in a new place wanders obediently up to his side, settling down on his knees. figuring this was just another part of the castle he had yet to explore (seeing as how he's only about two or three days of true age), he's unaware of his switched settings.]

Oh jeez. It figures the first person he runs into is a Vexen who's never cloned anything.

[pauses in tapping the pen and turns slightly to glance down at the boy in confusion]

[what he wants? ... he doesn't quite understand. he's really not capable of wanting anything. not yet. he doesn't feel like there's anything that'd make him happier than making 'father' happy.]
