[and he's plunging Way to Dawn further in, ripping up, ripping down, anything to get to it.]

[probably not, but it's a small price to--Way to Dawn vanishes and he's left trying to keep this Hydra from eating him. ... oh, this does not look good.]

[tag team much? this Roxas isn't about to let a Riku get mangled in his sight, so here he is standing his ground, Oathkeeper and Oblivion splayed outwards.]

--don't cut off the heads!

[that's all he can yell, really trying to avoid those teeth and roll to sides, anything.]

[he yells back, shifting his keyblades on their sides so he can play baseball with the heads instead, for now.]

Get up on the Hydra's back!

[he curses and almost slaps himself when it comes out, but his arms are shaking from the force of the teeth about to snap shut on his body.]

[that command's easy enough; he's never not had the power of darkness on his side unlike Riku, so that destination's just a portal away. when he's there, however, it's shaky and slippery grounds, so he's having a bit of trouble standing and keeping his balance.]

[shit-- it's too fast, he'd fall if it weren't for Oathkeeper lodging itself into the beast. using that as leverage and swinging Oblivion wildly, he tugs himself back up, twisting the blade out and aiming to stab it through, right between the shoulders.]

[and then there's a choked gasp as he tries to push back the pain starting.]

[it's a last minute decision to portal off, but because of that he's frantic about where to land, and it winds up being right atop the head that just struck at him.]
