[his eyes go over to him as he pauses at a rest, to regard him before they go straight back to reading that music. music soothes the savage beast and the snake's curled back around his wrist like a bracelet.]

[he blinks over at him and just kind of freezes for a moment. he has to get some paper and write it down before showing it to Sora.]

[blink. he nods a little, putting down his violin and grabbing his notebook. the snake's still clinging onto him, and he doesn't mind at all.]

[with a few flickers of his tongue, the snake settles back down, curling around his wrist protectively. Riku pauses and flashes all ten of his fingers.]

[he gives a slow nod, shifting a little before he hears the compliment. the tinge on his cheeks gets a little redder and he waves a hand, as if saying 'it's nothing special!']
